You listed 14 "bands" and in my opinion, only 2 of them are of weight. As in, some actual credible musicianship and showmanship. Incredible showmanship in fact with Rammstein. Green Day is the other example of a good band. Your other choices, I humbly reject outright but to each our own. Peace.

That part where it reveals that they’re the free ones, and the people gawking at them are the ones in the fence will forever be iconic
@EuroMIX23 жыл бұрын
I actually forgot that the beginning technically gives it away, but it's possible a lot of people don't consciously know or think about how fences like that work, and they do such a good job of implying that the girls are trapped behind the fence away from their family and friends with their world being "small", due to the wall not far behind preventing them from travelling too far away from the fence, but then they discover the end of the wall implying they only thought they were trapped when they cared about what everyone else thought. They get to go free while everyone else remains trapped.

Nowadays, a lot of people don´t know that this song (and it´s music video) was a HUGE scandal back when it was released (in 2002). Seriously, an ENORMOUS scandal. The music video caused major controversy in many countries all around the world, because it depicted themes of (underage) lesbianism. Several organisations protested against the video and wanted it banned. Furthermore, there were several music stations that removed the scenes of the girls kissing eachother. For today´s standard, the video is considered harmless by most people. Well, things back then were different than they are today.

Now, after 22 years, I am married to a more beautiful woman than the one I was in love with, and I have 3 wonderful children. We are experiencing the first love. Discussing the comment section: Yulia said she would prefer if her son is not gay, she did make a remark against mlm though, 6 years ago. She may have internalized homophobia but she isn’t a *raging* homophobe, she has gay friends aswell. She's apologized but it's not my apology to accept. Lena and Yulia are both bisexual except Lena can’t say it due to her religion, Lena said she was never interested in dating girls but Yulia caught her interest. They weren't forced to do anything and they had stated in an interview that they would’ve never done any of this if they were uncomfortable with it. And no, they were not forced to act out “lesbian p--” scenes. Yulia also told people that her and Lena are bi in an interview. They might’ve had feelings for each other but Lena said the question was too personal when being asked, all we know is that they were close friends who *loved* each other! Yulia said if she kept loving Lena so much she was afraid Lena wouldn’t get married. They also stated real emotions were involved within this project. It’s upsetting that they split up and decided to go separate ways but I’m not very surprised. It’s ashame, they were very very close. Yulia wants to reunite but I don’t see it happening sadly. Edit: It's okay if you believe otherwise on my opinions. ^^
@tatu4life7133 жыл бұрын
Thanks for saying this, it upsets me that everyone is believing all of those false rumors. Yulia actually had asked Lena if she wanted to continue t.A.T.u in an instagram post in January. Lena most likely declined due to her not liking the post but it isn’t very surprising because Yulia had said rude stuff about Lena before that. If you saw Lena’s apology saying that they couldn’t reunite tatu due to the rude stuff Yulia said she was clearly very upset and looked as if she could cry. It’s a shame but I’m glad they’re both perusing their solo careers now.
@hardkol3 жыл бұрын
Yana Tatu I’ve seen the apology and it upsets me knowing that it wasn’t Lena’s fault. I’m not sure if Lena is over that yet but it’s been over 6 years since the incident.
@hardkol3 жыл бұрын
Also there was an interview where Lena said that they were thinking about marriage aswell. If you watch a lot of compilations like me, you’d know how close they were.. Unless they weren’t being serious. they were close friends but a lot of people like me see them as more, just an opinion!!

Lyrics: All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said (all the things she said) This is not enough (enough, enough, enough) I'm in serious shit, I feel totally lost If I'm asking for help it's only because Being with you has opened my eyes Could I ever believe such a perfect surprise? I keep asking myself, wondering how I keep closing my eyes but I can't block you out Want to fly to a place where it's just you and me Nobody else, so we can be free Nobody else, so we can be free All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said This is not enough (Я сошла с ума) This is not enough All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said And I'm all mixed up, feeling cornered and rushed They say it's my fault but I want her so much Want to fly her away where the sun and rain Come in over my face, wash away all the shame When they stop and stare, don't worry me 'Cause I'm feeling for her what she's feeling for me I can try to pretend, I can try to forget But it's driving me mad, going out of my head All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said (all the things she said) This is not enough (Я сошла с ума) This is not enough All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said She said All the things she said All the things she said Mother looking at me Tell me what do you see? Yes, I've lost my mind Daddy looking at me Will I ever be free? Have I crossed the line? All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said All the things she said Running through my head Running through my head All the things she said (all the things she said) This is not enough (Я сошла с ума) This is not enough All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said All the things she said, she said

If you’re under the age of 19 and know this song I’m very impressed! Edit: omg I’ve never had so many comments. Nice to see that the younger generation know this song! Edit 2: Just for context, I haven’t met a person irl below the age of 19 that knows this song, hence why I’m impressed. However, I’m sorry if I caused any offence.

In the 70s and much of 80s, you didn't need it, because noone bloody well cared. Man, i actually pity you for being born in the 90s. Only bad thing about late 60s to 80s was the lack of computer stuff until the 80s when the good stuff started popping up. 70s and 80s had the best movies and music, 60s started the free thinking, free everything waves, 70s started so many waves of creative, everything... Lots of it was complete nuts, but it was still fun. Today, we have a magnitude more media coming out, but not even half the creativity or innovation. Or heck, even quality. Eh, sorry for being depressing...

When I was a kid my friend called me gay. I was offended but then he explained that I’m gay because I like boys and that he’s lesbian because he likes girls. So our whole lives we’ve both rocked the title gay and lesbian because that’s what we thought it meant. It wasn’t until we were 14 that we realized that’s not how it works and that we were both just simply straight. That was my Ted Talk.

#1, the russian version is so much more passionate. Makes the song sound more rounded and the lyrics and singing sounds more intimate and natural. #2 this song reminds me of many things, but the most prominent is when a friend and i were in Gatwick waiting for our flight back to orlando, having a "mid" full English breakfast, the tvs played this music video (2005?) With the breaking news of a terrorist attack just happening around the corner on a banner running under the video. These observations mean nothing, im just contributing to the conversation. Carry on.
