I was just wondering if I should start building up Nick Fury and the rest of the characters needed to go after Omega Red.

@@Therock007dmx I would at least start unlocking Nick Fury given he takes a while. Sharon Carter and Maria Hill have alternative farm locations to their Hard Mode Campaign locations but Sam is only located in orbs besides his farm node in Doom Wars. They are all needed at 5 stars inclusive of winter solider. Get the stars first then build them.

Speaking as a player that started in October the game has improve in that they basically doubled the shards available in dark locations eg campgain nodes went from 2 to 4. So if events double a groups shards they go from 4 to 8. In one case two events running simultaneously can make it 16 shards per try but this may not apply to you if you have already farmed these characters. Store shards have also doubled meaning you can now buy more per store reset. Red stars are now like being handed like candy because of the new system diamonds. New characters are becoming farmable faster inclusive of being offered on the strike and battle passes. Bifrost is fully farmable in game. Next two teams to be farmable should be Pegasus and Superior 6. I would estimate that Pegasus probably be farmable in game probably starting sometime late February. There have been quality of life improvements I believe since your departure. Inclusive of the most recent this weeks ISO switching at the team screens before activities.

They haven't done them in a while, and mentioned there was one last run. There's meant to be a new solution coming

Weaver is exactly very good and very annoying on defence.

You can spend your cores how you want but the best use of them is for campaign and iso energy. An alliance team mate of mine used 7,000 cores to unlock forge. The equivalent offer that would have unlocked him in the store would have cost about 4,000 cores. Yes those 7000 cores could have been “free” but doesn’t change the fact that getting those would have taken “time”. If you convert your time into dollar equivalent then my alliance mate basically paid scopely double physical money wise. Each to their own.

@@Timesplitter_01 you are giving one example.. ive used 675 cores and have once or twice unlocked with just one pull. other times it takes 3 or 4.. but if it gets to be too much i stop to conserve my cores. there is no right answer for spending any of the currency in the game.. just depends on what you need and what you are going for. ive missed an unlock by 1 shard already and spending 675 would have got me that unlock
