As per rule, if you are winning more than 10k aggregate in one financial year from same betting company, then TDS will be applicable. But practically, I have seen many users saying that company deduct TDS only if the one time winning amount is greater than 10k

Or chota chota amount krke agar saal me 1 - 2 lakh koi earn bhi krta hai to, rule ke according usko tax dena hota hai lekin nhi bhi pay krega to koi issue nhi hota, Income tax department bade amount pe notice bhejte hai like 10 lakh plus in a year

Agar aisa rule hi rakhna hai to 49 par bhi tds kaat diya jaye, jisse sabhi log khelna hi band kar de aur ye companies hi band ho jaye. Ya to sarkar aisa rule banaye ki keval ek saal ke net profit par hi tax lagaya jaye, nahi to in sab ko band kiya jaye.

Jab kuch pta nhi hoto faltu comment krke logo ko gumrah nhi kro, 2023-24 me aisa koi naya rule nhi aaya hai, 1987 se same rule exist krta hai pahle 40% tax tha 2001 ke around usko 30% kr dia gya. And isme koi deduction exemption nhi milta flat 30% plus cess lagta hai. 10000 se niche wala rule TDS ka hai jo already video me bataya hai. Baaki section 115BB and 194B padh lo

Dena hota hai bhai. But as he has mentioned, k 10,000 se neeche government ko Details nahii jati hain. To maximum log pay nahii karte hain. Agar aap 15000-20000 saal kaa jeeto, to dekh lo apne hisaab se. But agar laakh mein jeeto, to Tax dena chahiye.

It means practically nobody can be in profit in small (2-member) leagues. Suppose somebody plays 2-member leagues. He plays 10 games, wins 7 and looses 3. Entry Fee: Rs.5750, Winning Amount: Rs.10000. So in 10 games, he paid Rs.5750 X 10 = Rs.57500. Won amount = Rs.10000 X 7 = Rs.70000. Means actual profit is Rs. 70000 - 57500 = Rs. 12500. But according to the video, he will have to pay tax on amount 70000. So 31.2% of 70000 is Rs. 21840. Means his profit is 12500, but he will pay 21840 as tax. Does it simply mean that Companies like Dream11 and Indian Government are making fool of public through these fantasy apps ?

@@dhananjayverma7393 You have to pay Tax on gross winning amount not on profit according to Income tax Section 115B. If your winning amount is less than 10000 or equal to 10000 company won't deduct TDS but you have to pay tax on all winnings amounts. Its practically impossible. Govt has to regulate Tax law on gaming. So many persons got Income Tax notices for their winnings.

Galat information de raha hai bhai puri tarah. Aap total loss mai hai to tax pad nahi karna padta. Aur apka tax kat gaya aur aap overall loss mai ho to aap TDS refund le sakte ho.
