In this video, we discuss taxes in Canada. I explained the difference between Federal Tax and Provincial Tax. We will calculate the basic tax and see how high actually taxes are in Canada. In addition to that, we also discuss how to save some tax money in Canada.
Please note, the source of the tax brackets is 'canada.ca' and they are for the year 2021 which may also change in the future. All the calculations in this video are for an explanation so do not use them for filing your taxes. They are only done to explain to you the tax system and this is just an educational video. Always consult an accountant for doing any tax-related work.

Well put together and explained. Hope now people will stop complaining about tax now. Lol. I would like to add two things here First - you can use your car in your business but canada revenue may ask for mileage data sheet. Second- in order for anyone to work as independent contractor , they have be sole proprietor (in this you have to careful because all your expenses and income cone and goes out of your personal account) Or you can have a corporation open and claim everything in that which will give you more tax savings. Gursahib veere I had a question I hope you will reply Do the government employees also have to pay the same amount of taxes. For eg:- RCMP (royal Canadian mounted police) . Do they also have to pay the same percentage of tax as a normal citizen .

I watch your videos from Bangladesh and it's been really helpful. I wanted to come to Canada in May session. Will it be really hard in the session breaks if you work full time? Or can I cope up and earn decent amount of money for my tuition fees?
