Hi, when is it worth to choose the "Foreign key person" 32% of tax at source taxation? and what exactly mean the 32% like up to or always above a monthly €5800 salary? Thanks, Istvan

Hello Nordic Finans, Thank you for you video, for the exemple you take with the 50 K€ i fully undestand and find the same thing on the Vero Website. In you example, in the video at 7'28 you take the 21,5% + 8,65% to get the 30,15%. So she will pay 30,15% of 50K€ = 15 065€. She have to live net after taxes : 50k€ - 15,065k€ = 34 935 € for the year = 2 911,25€ / Month. BUT, what is the "additionnal withholding rate at 37,5%" in the Vero document example ? What is that ?
@AleksiHimself
@AleksiHimself 2 ай бұрын
The additional rate means that you pay that rate if you exceed your annual estimation.

Great video .. According to VERO Corporate income tax in Finland is 20% .. so is there a thing called "Tax on reinvested profits in Finland" meaning that we invest the profits back to business .. reason I am asking is that in Estonia e-Residency offer 0% tax on reinvested profits .. so we can reinvest whatever profit we make without getting taxed which will help a lot to grow the business. Also says "NO taxes on annual income and submit " .. can you please elaborate on this ?
@AleksiHimself
@AleksiHimself 2 ай бұрын
Finland does not have that, only Estonia does. In Finland you pay 20% corporate tax.

@NordicFinans
@NordicFinans 2 жыл бұрын
So work income deductions are any money you use to produce your income. If you have to travel with your own car alot during your work hours, what you pay for gas could be deducted here. Deductible amount is simply how much you want to deduct/remove... Hopefully that clears things up a little bit😇👍

Hi, Thanks a lot for the nice video. It is very helpful. I had a question: I use E-Toro trading platform to buy and sell stocks. So when I sell/close a profitable stock, I have two options (1) Reinvest the profits within the platform, and (2) Withdraw it into my Finnish bank account. My question is, Is it so that I pay tax only when I withdraw it to my Finnish bank account [Option 2]? Let me know. Thanks a lot.
@NordicFinans
@NordicFinans 2 жыл бұрын
You actually ALWAYS have to pay tax when selling stocks based on the total profit made on an annual basis. This is why holding stocks for a long time has tax benefit as well😇👍

@@NordicFinans Thanks a lot for your response. Yes holding long term has the best tax benefits. I initially assumed we pay tax when we only withdraw our sold stock into our bank account. However now I understand better. Thanks a lot, this answer helps 😊

@Athith Sagar - Nordnet (and I guess some other companies) provide an "OST" account in Finland (Equities Savings Account). This allows you to only pay tax when you withdraw money into you Finnish bank account. You can invest for as many years as you please without paying capital gains tax. There is a limit to how much you can invest in your OST (€50 000) and you can only have one "OST" per person. Also, you are only allowed to invest in stocks (no ETFs, funds, options etc..) The "OST" account is strictly only for stocks and dividends (no shorts). Another account (where you do have to report trades to the tax authorities) called the "AOT" can be used (optionally) for trades that are not allowed to be made from the "OST" account. Search Google for "osakesaastotili" for more information if that helps you.
