Like the problem right now isn't even CFG atm. The amount of controller players have drastically increased after COD boys came over a few seasons ago. Like 70% of the encounter are rollers, you're just getting beamed back to back. The barrier of entry for Apex is soooo much higher than what it once was.

And more importantly THERE SHOULD NEVER EVEN BE A AIM ASSIST IN A COMPETITIVE MULTIPLAYER... WHY IS THERE A AIM ASSIST? Like you people are talking about how its not that strong.. blah blah.. why is it even in the game? Who puts an aim assist into a competitive shooter? And why? Because they want a bunch of newbies playing their game. And at this point if they were to stop people from CFGing and using controller, it would kill their game. The majority of people who play apex are cheaters or configgers. Its turned into one of those games now. Counter-Strike disabled scripts a long time ago when people were bunnyhopping .. strafe jumping.. this isnt some new thing in the gaming community.. which is why i know they're allowing it. its super easy to disable. you can limit the number of keys a player hits.. so if they have a script where it hits forward 50 times blah blah.. its only gonna register 2 of those 5 clicks and not do the exploit they were trying to script. but they're not gonna do that, thats half their player base. which are kids who arent good at any other fps.. but when they get on apex with their scripts and aim assist, they feel like they're top notch gamers. when in reality, they're bottom of the barrel. if any of these top apex players went into any other game, theyd get smashed. the majority of them are cheating and then they cant do anything on LAN.. same with all the weird little streamers in this game who are blatantly using cfgs to do stupid stuff? its not impressive to me when you're using a script to do things.. if you can do that on your own with your own 2 hands.. amazing. but you cant, so it should be banned. anyway this game will die at some point if they dont disable the cheating. or be stagnant.. this is Apex's peak.. as we see. Apex needs to make it possible to tap strafe on roller in game without configs 🤷‍♂️ Everyone complains, but they would prefer if roller couldn't move or have AA either one. Doesnt even make sense. Ya'll literally just want free kills. Only way of balancing it is add roller tap strafe in game equivalent to MnK tap strafe, then ban Steam configs. If you wanna lower AA thats fine to, but there's zero reason MnK players should get to exploit tap strafe and roller players shouldn't. AA isnt even an exploit, it's intentionally coded into the game lol.

just admit it! rollers don't want to give up their advatnages on AA and Respawn does not want to give up on their revenues coming from controller users because they accout for the majority. It's just as simple as it is. The game is way far from being 'fair' or at least 'competitive'.
