This is a RZA instrumental cassette mixtape mixed by DJ $TAY PUFT.

The tracks on this tape originate from RZA's score to the movie Ghost Dog, previously only available in Japan. It has since been re-released by 36 Chambers records. I only wanted the instrumental score, with no lyrics or rapping so I re-edited all the tracks into one mixtape that hopefully pays proper homage and respect to the almighty RZA, Jim Jarmusch, and Forest Whitaker. This is Platinium... 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 The soundtrack of the 1999 Jim Jarmusch film Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai features an original score by RZA and also features hip-hop songs by such artists as Wu-Tang Clan, Killah Priest, and Public Enemy. Two soundtrack albums were released, one internationally and another in Japan, each with different song mixes, some of which do not appear in the film. There are many songs, however, that can be heard in the film that appear on neither soundtrack album.[citation needed] It is the first of RZA's fully scored film works. This is the Film Score (a.k.a. The Japanese Version) Ghost Dog : The Way of the Samurai (Music from the Motion Picture) Film score by RZA, various artists Released 1999 (Japan) Genre Hip hop Label JVC Records Producer RZA RZA, various artists chronology Bobby Digital in Stereo (1998) Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (Music from the Motion Picture) The score release was released in 1999 as a Japan exclusive and focuses on the original instrumental score of the film, while also including vocal tracks from Wu-Tang Clan and RZA that were not heard in the film.

@@CasimirLeYeti While Public Enemy’s “Cold Lampin’ with Flavor” is in the film (hilariously rapped by one of the mobsters) Public Enemy is not featured on either the Score or the Soundtrack. The Score was re-released on CD and Vinyl in 2020 by RZA’s 36 Chambers imprint. I took that Score and re-edited it to edit out the Vocal tracks, as well as extending/looping some of the shorter tracks and adding in some of Ghost Dogs monologues.
