Another fantastic delivery. Well done. It's so impressive. Very intriguing documentary and spot on with the facts (as best as I know). Now I understand why TY Danjuma turned down the chance to be Head of State after the failed coup, I guess it became clear to him that some factions in the army didn't approve of his rise through the ranks. In my view, Obasanjo's execution of the plotters was a measure of not repeating the same 'mistake' that Aguyi Ironsi made. Thank you so much for the effort and research you put into these episodes.

So many side stories to this chapter of Nigeria's history. How Colonel John Madaki almost got executed as Bisalla's ADC. Also look up Col. Obgebor's account about how Colonel Wya was executed and later his British wife received a letter of apology that he was never involved in the coup. The woman then put her four children in her car and drove in front of a big truck killing them all. That coup would make a great book and movie.

Those officers in the 60's foresaw what has been happening in Nigeria today corruption, corruption, and maladministration. Unfortunately they screwed up by the killings of Northern leaders, but what followed after their screwup? an unfortunate civil war, followed by incompetent govts. one after the other, including civilian rule.

Nice work, though there are minor errors therein As a nation we need to reflect on our past, heal wounds, seek forgiveness, review cases of miscarriage of justice and forge forward as a united country

That's why historical work like this needs commendation. It's only when we all understand where wrongs were done in history.... and we accept... that we can come together and heal together.
