She is more than up there. 3 hours 44 songs. It seems you have just pushed her to the side for so long you have missed understanding the vast history with performing she has. She also doesn’t have to prove herself to anyone, she’s breaking every record there is.

It was her live performance of I Knew You Were Trouble where you were so surprised and said it was the best she ever sounded. You also were super impressed with the intro and that she really belted a few notes.

I went to the Reputation show and she commanded the stadium of 80,000 people from the minute she appeared. But she can also command the stage with just her and her guitar. If I remember correctly she produced or definitely had almost full say pretty much on how this went. (+ acts like a sore loser too -- charming). And re dancing, that's thrown in by performers, generally, who can't do a show without them there to pad it up, frankly, & they don't often sing & dance at the same time. You'll notice that Taylor's dancers are always in the background & very often in the dark, just as silouettes. (I think Taylor actually needs dancers at this show tho -- the stadium holds 200,00+ people [sold out], + it has a 75'-100' wide stage + the extension in front!! And she's just one little girl there). Taylor never stops singing, you'll notice. Look at Adele, too. Adele doesn't dance herself, doesn't have dancers, won't be getting any & doesn't need to be getting any. Taylor just adds all this other stuff to make the show more enjoyable, more fun for ppl, adding in lots of eye candy re the stage itself. I think ppl certainly got their money's worth at the above concert!!!! Performers who write their own songs often don"t need to do much else but sing, really, I've noticed. I"m also thinking of Paul Simon & Graceland, for one. Ppl are fascinated enough with their lyrics, music hooks, & sentiment, I think, & get really focused on that. Re the bass -- I am a total bass freak too... I want to hear a big bad bass away out in front of EVERYthing else. The first time I heard the bass in this song, I couldn't get over how humungous their equipment & speakers have to be, for such a huge venue. I also thought, THAT bass is the kind where you also feel it vibrating in your chest & stomach -- also very thrilling!! I read that Taylor said, to get in shape for the Eras tour, she regularly ran on a treadmill while singing all 22 of her songs!! So that's why she seems to have enough breath & energy to spare in a show like the one above!!! She also doesn't talk to anyone before or after her concerts, to save her voice.
