I could see this song sounding really good if you mixed and matched the strumming patterns. Like maybe use the slower pattern during the chorus to really open it up but use the faster one during the verses. Part of the appeal of this song is the change in rhythm from verse to chorus, in my opinion. Love this tutorial!
