To avoid any confusion... "The 1989 World Tour" is just the name of the tour. This performance happened in 2015, as it is stated in the description and on the video itself (0:13). Why is that the name? Taylor named her fifth studio album, "1989", after her year of birth, therefore, that was the name given to her forth headlining tour, in support of this album. This idea or always having a surprise guest in this tour was underrated really! Yes it got press but this is so epic! All of them. It is such a nice treat for the audience and hey! props to the band for adding these basically last minute every time as I'm sure the rehearsal time was very short in between shows! I'd like think I would have done this if I had been a pop star lol. She really is that little girl the dreamt all this and got it when she grew up.

I know right! To think that some of the guests were invited 1 or 2 days or even a few hours before the performance. They have to practice the guest artist's song for a limited time but they always slay the performance like they've been practicing for their whole life.
