At least 50% of the album is about Matty Healy, as far as i've read from people who listened to the leaks. And the songs about Joe are basically You're losing me 2.0, nothing new, no confirmed cheating (on his part, at least).

I think it’s supposed to seem one tone because the whole album is about poems. She prob wants people to concentrate on her words instead of melody
