This album made me a Taylor Swift fan. Such a heart-shatteringly beautiful song.

It's the perfect song to embody being 7, the innocence behind your mind not knowing your friend is in a bad home, and the silly thoughts... the friend that you had as a child that you don't quite remember their name or face but you remember them, the love you had for them, the little things you said or promised each other. It makes me sob thinking about and the music, melody, and metaphors used in this song are absolutely breathtaking. My all time favorite song because of the insane raw emotions I feel for it.

it really does, it makes me absolutely shocked that people say she can’t sing. She’s got such a comforting voice, I don’t understand how anyone could dislike it. 🩷

Such a sad song 😪 About child abuse, childhood friendship & hope
@melissadavis49812 ай бұрын
I hope her friend is okay wherever she is... and I hope she knows she's loved and still thought about. I can't listen to this without sobbing thinking of my own childhood friends and how I will never have that childlike mind of innocence again ❤ Also, having a 5 year old it also just hits different.

Please picture me In the trees I hit my peak at seven feet In the swing Over the creek I was too scared to jump in But I, I was high in the sky With Pennsylvania under me Are there still beautiful things? Sweet tea in the summer Cross your heart, won't tell no other And though I can't recall your face I still got love for you Your braids like a pattern Love you to the moon and to Saturn Passed down like folk songs The love lasts so long And I've been meaning to tell you I think your house is haunted Your dad is always mad and that must be why And I think you should come live with Me and we can be pirates Then you won't have to cry Or hide in the closet And just like a folk song Our love will be passed on Please picture me In the weeds Before I learned civility I used to scream ferociously Any time I wanted I, I Sweet tea in the summer Cross my heart, won't tell no other And though I can't recall your face I still got love for you Pack your dolls and a sweater We'll move to India forever Passed down like folk songs Our love lasts so long

Já conhecia os álbuns Red e 1989 claro. Mas este confirmou que ela têm futuro para além do pop, um som mais adulto.

One of my all time favorite Taylor Swift songs ❤❤❤❤❤ I wonder if it’s about a child being abused who she wanted to save 😢😢

As someone who was abused. That’s what this song screams to me. Makes me think of how I felt safe with my Childhood friends but never safe at home.

Wasn't the dark haired guy with the glasses playing the piano at the Grammys with Taylor?

That’s producer Jack Antonoff. He’s produced a lot of Taylor, Lana and Lorde.
