I’m an unlikely candidate for being a Swift fan but her 1989 Album started it for me. At first it was hearing a couple of her songs on the radio that resonated with me. There was a mature perspective and insight to them. This isn’t the only song of hers I love but is by far my favorite. For people who think her music is just for kids I challenge anyone over 50 to sit down and listen to her1989 album or any album she’s recorded since then and not find themselves identifying with at least one or two of her songs and that opens the door to the rest of her music. I’m a huge fan now at 69 years old. Her music is ageless and impressive. And to think I thought she was just a smart PASSIONATE socially conscious pop icon. Who knew she was also amazingly talented to? LOL
