I think Taylor means that even in situations that seemed bad, it led her to her man (the better thing). Taylor also said that reputation was a "bait and switch" because it discussed bad times and seemed edgy and dark, but was actually about finding love.

Joe Alwyn gets slammed left and right but everyone seems to forget he inspired Taylor truly her very best music "Call it what you want Lover Delicate Willow etc etc etc, and brought her comfort in her most desperate times (pre-Reputation era)... Taylor, stop blocking the channels that make the instrumental version of your song. I searched for Willow's instrumental version on the "Official Instrumentals" channel, and I DIDN'T find the song. It was the only instrumental version that I liked because only the sound appears without a vocal trace. If you don't allow others to produce and publish the instrumental versions of your songs, then you yourself DO THE WORK OF POSTING THE INSTRUMENTAL VERSION OF THE SONG. Because I like to listen only to the instrumentals of your songs (without the backing vocals) and I haven't been able to because you ask me to take all the versions. I'm getting disappointed in you about this and what was once a pleasure for me is slowly turning into heartbreak. You're already a BILLIONAIRE. You don't have to chase after some channels that do the job you should be doing in making the instrumental versions of your songs available. *Again, INSTRUMENTAL versions and not Karaoke versions.*
