I'm pretty sure the opposing team already knows about the "Silent Night" tradition but it would be crazy if they had no idea what was gonna happen.

We did this at my school against our biggest rivals. They were so confused/ frustrated that many people got technicals and almost got sent out after it was all said and done, we blew them out by 40 points.

The song wasn't played with the intention of the students dancing. That 7 year old just ran out on the court and started dancing. Others just joined him. It wasn't planned.

Groce is a Taylor graduate. The tradition at TU has been ongoing since early 90's. America is has just found out about it the last couple of years. I graduated from Taylor in 90 and just missed the start of it!

yup, my college was in the same NAIA conference with them a few years ago.

They weren't the only college to do something like this, Illinois did this for their new coach john groce at the beginning on their season

Kinda reminds me of my school but with the girls basketball team. We were ao loud and we did something aimiliar to their silent thing. We actually were such loud fans tht our district made new rules just because of how crazy we were.
