Based on my experiences with my Nikon Df compared to my Fuji XPro1 I would wonder if they could get the UI right/better. I love my “normal” Nikons, but when they try to do retro interfaces… I’m not quite in love. The images I still love, and honestly I’d love a digital rangefinder style camera from Nikon, but I’d have questions about UI/ergonomics. 🤷♂️😸

In 2000 Nikon made new S3, they had to get retired techs to come guide them to do the job right. 2005 Nikon made the new SP. Yes ! I wish they make 35TI new ! Such a wonderful camera to use. Great photos Taylor. Thanks for the video.

It is a work of mechanical genius, I have a much less expensive AD3, also an f/2.8 with I think five elements in two groups. I wish I had more manual control of it but oh well.

Some r6 II with a 24-105 f4 and some iPhone. A lot of iPhone actually haha

@@TaylorJacksonPhoto nice! I picked up the Osmo Pocket 3 for our trip and I'm loving it so far. Going to go pickup my iPhone 15 Pro today as well to get some better phone footage.

I just picked up one of these recently, and I was a little disappointed to see the date imprint on the frames when I scanned them. I *think* I turned it off now. I’m not really sure how I like it compared to the rollei AFM35 (Fuji Klasse) that I also picked up. Though that seems to scratch the film, and the Nikon doesn’t so… decisions decisions…

I figured out the date imprint thing… turns out you have to set the date and time, otherwise it puts all zeros… silly! 😅🤷♂️ I also set the custom settings to have flash off unless I turn it on, and to display shutter speed in the viewfinder, so I can tell how blurry a shot might because of camera shake. I used this camera to shoot some extras at an event, and it was… ok. I think it’s more romanticized than spectacular. But I still kept this one and sent the Rollei back 😹😸
