This review is spot on for me. I bought the mini driver last year when it came out as I stuggled immensely with driver confidence wise. Only my 3rd season golfing and so far I was able to score 90 as my best score with a very shitty inconsistent out to in swing but 0 confidence with tee shots. I managed to do this with the 3wood as my only "driver" with somehow good results, straighter and longer than my driver at that moment, like you explained some begginers will see. So yeah, I figured might as well try to get more distance with this beauty let's give it a shot! It played it's role to perfection! Don't get me wrong, I still lost some tee shots there and there as my swing was still shitty. But it goes far! Did not try to hit like a driver, same swing as my 3 wood. Confidence on the tee shots way better! Outdrived my big muscle friends many many times ( we are all begginers in our 30's with kids and no time but we can still hit it good). At the end of last season I saw some used ones for 200ish dollars on facebook marketplace, try and get one used if you are curious! Kind of a long comment english is not my first language but I want to let people know that it can be an option for you too! Thanks for the great content again guys! ***** I did practice my driver indoor this winter and fixed my swing path completely and now I am hitting it so much better it's a whole new world for me!!! I want a driver fitting to help me find the center of the face better to get that ballspeed going cause it's the last thing missing!****

I have last year’s model, and I don’t hear this mentioned in reviews a lot. But it’s a very solid feeling club, much more so than any modern driver or fairway wood. It really feels like you’re swinging a hammer, without the actual weight of one. Off the deck it feels like more like a hybrid, which is pretty special for such a low lofted club.

Well I almost bought a used one earlier in the week, but got beat to it. Heard todays news and went straight to my local store that had them. I was the 3rd person to buy one already. Pretty sure that store will sell out tonight. Can’t wait to hit it this weekend.

What a club. I ditched my Cobra LDTx for one of these in 13.5 turned down to 12. Awesome and goes a little further due to my smash factor going up.

I just bought the previous BRNR and it fits great in my bag. The copper version is just a color difference. Still a nice club.❤

For me the mini driver in 13.5º solves an issue for me... I do not like hitting 3 woods but my home course has numerous holes where you need to max out your distance but driver is too long. Mini driver has been perfect because it is straight and long but not as long as my driver. If i ever hit 3 wood off the ground the story might be different... but it also might not because I actually have more confidence hitting the mini driver off the ground than a normal 3 wood. For me it the perfect club to fit a much needed spot in my bag.

I ordered the new one looking forward to it currently have a Stealth 2 HD 9.5 degree driver / 17 degree New Cleveland Hywood 3+ / and a Qi10 Max 7 wood 22 degrees I figure the 13.5 degree BRNR Mini Driver will be a good fit in my bag can change the settings to what suits me best I did change the grip to a Golfpride MCC +4 midsize club should be here tomorrow they say excited about it great video cheers from Vulcan Canada UPDATE : i ended up getting the new copper version and i LOVE it went with the 13.5 degree and the MCC +4 midsize grip off the fairway is awesome and off the tee glad i went with it to go inbetween my 9 degree driver and my 17 degree Hywood

I have last years model with a AD DI shaft (uncut) Perfect combination. I even tried it with a 6s velocore but the ad di was a better fit for my swing. Average 275-300.

Just ordered mine online ! With the ventus blue TR 6 hope it works for me ! I cant hit my driver for some reason, but i can hit my 3 wood 300yds off the tee

I love the Mini Driver, but save your money if you have last year's Burner. It's the exact same club with a new colorway from what I have heard.

This is a miracle club for me. I golf at a 3/4 length course and we have several 280+ yd par 4s. I can't use a driver because I'll put it over every time and a three fairway Wood just doesn't cut it off the tee. Monday I drove a couple of greens and had 2 eagle puts.

Do you setup and AoA like a driver with the BRNR? Or do you hit it like a 3 wood?

For full transparency, if you're struggling getting your 3-wood off the ground, the Brnr Mini will be more difficult. Taller face plus lower loft make it tougher to hit off the deck than a "standard" fairway wood

I’ve actually found it easier to hit than a 3 wood. I took my 3 wood out of the bag for years. Bought last years burner at 13.5 degrees and lofted it up to 15.5 and it has been amazing off the tee and off the deck.

Try a 5wood or a 7 wood, you could get better distance.

I’m like you, for some reason can’t hit a 3 or 5 wood. But 7 wood is awesome and I can hit the 13.5 mini off the deck for some reason.

I’m using mine as a driver replacement, but refrain from using it off the deck only because I don’t want to mar the face.

This is what I was thinking. I got the previous model and was seeing so many videos that I started to question whether I was mistaken about what I had. New paint and more marketing is all I see.

Playing stock 4-PW 120 KBS P7MB, 52°, 56°, 60° RTX ZipCore and a 3 wood TM SimMax (80g shaft) I’m hitting my 3 wood 250-285ish, I don’t see the need for a driver and feel more comfortable with my 3 wood. Is there a reason I should get a Mini Driver? Im not sure, where else could I get my 14th club?

If you're only using 3 wood off the tee, then I'd consider testing one of these. Might need a custom shaft as stock only comes in stiff and suspect your swing speed might be too much for that. Could give you more distance while not sacrificing much accuracy

@@MarineBand5524 Interesting. I've also gone seasons only playing less than driver off the tee. My 3 wood also goes 240-275. I'm down to a 2 handicap with improving my driving, but some days I drive the ball so wildly that I put the driver away for my 3 wood. I haven't tried this mini driver yet, but it interests me. So much more comfortable hitting a fairway wood or irons.

Good review, but this guy swings pretty slow so it’s hard to tell how far I might hit it. Considering I carry my 5 wood 230 I’m assuming I’d carry this close to 255-260 but I guess I won’t know till mine comes in, just ordered one today!

Honestly I think this test should have been done with a faster swing speed. Swinging a mini driver at 94mph is only going to produce low bullets like this. Not the target audience imo.

I think the vast majority of players would benefit from cutting their driver down to 44” versus buying a mini driver

Don't cut down your driver shaft just put a 3wood shaft in your driver ,works great,This mini driver looks awesome but way to expensive as is everything in golf equipment is
