Emma Candon They are normal morning interview questions.. She was boring, awkward and plus she was sick at the time so she was probably partly grumpy or dull because she didn't feel well. And loads pf actors/actresses are asked "whats it like kissing........." and they laugh and joke about it and have a laugh, or wink or something. Whereas taylor sat there looking annoyed and grumpy and glared at them repeating "its a job" like seriously, live a little, have a bit of fun, joke around /:

Hmm yeh I have to agree, I don't watch this morning but Holly n Phil are always praised for their interviewing skills and I felt that they were just frowning in her direction the entire interview! It was like they were condemning her for having a job lol she was very polite and answered the questions well; she seemed very self assured. The fact they kept saying 'for your age' all the time seemed a bit condescending and she seemed to cotton onto it but continued to answer honestly. She also seemed nervous, perhaps that was because of the pure judgment coming from those 2! didn't seem to like the question at the end, probably because it was fucking ridiculous and just didn't add anything to the interview!! :)

Most interview/chat shows seem to be the same, the interviewer always has an agenda and makes the programme about themselves, not the guest. The only exception I have seen was Craig Ferguson. Completely different and Taylor would have got on with him like a house on fire. Sadly he has moved on.

+certain-catastrophe yeah it's not a big deal that she said shit, but it is worth knowing that under British law, the presenters legally had to apologise for it. This came to a head recently because sports fans here were complaining that broadcasters apologised every time a swearword was picked up on a mic, and the broadcasters pointed out that they legally have to apologise for any swearword broadcast before the 9pm watershed.

Exactly! Usually of what I've seen on This Morning, Holly and Phil are great interviews but they came across really rude in this video, Phil kept butting in when she was in the middle of speaking😕😕☹️.

They treated her like an ordinary little teenager! Sadly, for them, they completely overlooked what all she had accomplished at 16! More than most ever do in their entire lives! She comes off as a very intelligent and eloquent young woman at the age of 16 as well. Answering those inane questions would be fun, huh? They didn't appear that interested in anything beyond the same National Enquirer type questions she faces all the time. She handled it better than I would!

The media agenda my friend is, "hot and intelligent girls do not exist". Can't have that. They wanted to just paint her as "young and dumb" which is why they kept calling her provocative.

She didn't really manage to steer clear of that but all the same she is a strong and talented lady.

How they blatantly asked her a question at the end that she clearly didn't want to talk about. How they had a very judgmental way of talking to her. Also why would they apologise for one swear word? Is this show really going to be viewed by kids so young they don't know swear words? Because when I was 12 me and my friends were swearing.

+Zenith Wills I'm pretty sure that the presenters in this wouldn't be listening to music like hers (I mean have you noticed the age gap?) so I'm guessing that they would have felt a little awkward when shown a song singing about how much she wants to die when she's sitting right in front of them. The question at the end was clearly a cheeky question that a lot of Gossip Girl fans would want to hear the answer to (which they actually mentioned before asking her). It wasn't a totally serious question that was meant to make her laugh, she and a lot of the foreign viewers obviously didn't understand the humour and took it the wrong way, anyway they moved on when they realised that she wan't comfortable in answering the question. They weren't being judgmental, they only seemed interested to me. And they have to apologise for swearing because it's against the law to swear on television that's before 9pm, the show would have gotten into huge trouble if they hadn't have apologised. It's against the law because children could over hear the show if they aren't watching it and also even some adults, particularly older people can get very offended and uncomfortable when hearing swear words. They're not allowed to have a pretty girl on who's both provocative and intelligent, it doesn't fit the media image. so they try to bring her down and just keep her as provocative and try to make her seem "young and dumb". Taylor is without question intelligent and much smarter than she lets on. But these two hosts don't like to admit that, they'd much rather pigeonhole her so as to please their investors. .

If you're ahead of your grade level and classmates, you can,request to be tested out. And then keep doing so until you meet the level that better matches your intelligence. I completely understand where she comes from. You go through a life where you are forced to grow up quickly, you're robbed of your childhood. You grow up quicker, learn quicker, and become an adult quicker. I've always felt that way my entire life..and when conversing with someone they never ever guessed my age. I'm 21 now, like taylor..but at the age she is here..everyone thought I was older than my age. And she seems it too. Just because she's a celebrity does not mean she hasn't been through a thing or two. Just because she's always working doesn't mean she doesn't have time to go through it either. Parents don't seem to care about some of these young celebrities..which makes them act out. that kid who shot all those ppl in cali, his parents weren't exactly there for him... they had no idea he was hurting. And it's sad. Because nobody knows..they think their life is so glamorous or say "well they chose this life" bullshit. She never asked for it. And music WAS her way out. She never wanted or expected fame..it just followed her. And you know what? I praise her for being humble. I praise her for being that shy girl she is..because she's herself. What you see, is what you get. And I'd rather see that..than some fake celebrity with a fame image any day. she's smart, and talented. And people who don't see that? Their loss. all I know is she deserves all the praise she has been getting.. she's beyond amazing.

I live in the state of Texas and we have some programs where under certain circumstances you can do these weird classes and get all of your credits and graduate early. There's a particular program in my school district where you graduate in just half the time(age 16 ish), but I don't know of any where you can graduate at 14. Nonetheless I don't live where she went to school. I only know about my one district and my old district. I'm sure she just joined one of those early graduate programs at a certain age or even did what my friends and I a doing and do some classes over the summer(voluntarily).

+maxsiehier There is something called homeschooling. I'm sure you must have heard of it... she could have been studying at home with extra class work so she could graduate early since she already had a career and didnt need to go to college. There are a lot of actresses etc. that go this route.
