I remember loving this song so much when I was a teen. Because that kind of relationship is what you want at that age. A relationship full of passion even if it’s toxic (not that you realize that’s what it is) and now that I’m 26 I look back and it feels so different. I can see that 15 year old and how much I’ve grown.

And I’m exactly that 15yo who received the kind of relationship any teenager would dream of. But I feel like, our kind of love is a bit toxic, but that toxicity holds beauty in itself. We get into a lot of arguments and work thru each and every one of them. He’s my first kiss who I kissed in the light rain of winters. I might be a little young to say this but.. I truly hope he’s it. I want him to be with me for the rest of my life bc I don’t think I’ll ever find a boy so loyal and genuine as him. They say eyes explains how you feel, and I notice that he sees me with the most purest intentions. I know I won’t love anyone the way I loved him, I’m sure of it.

Glad that Taylor realized that true love is actually cleaning up bottles after Christmas with your lover (New Year's Day), wanting each other even with their dreary Mondays (Paper Rings) and treating each other's family like their own (peace) rather than screaming and fighting and kissing in the rain. I totally love the way she refers to her current date as "him" while her ex is "you". She's more distant from her present and feels closer to her ex, as if she's talking to him. There are not many people with whom we feel a connection that triggers us to "feel that much"

@@marianadiaz495 mostly the fact that she doesn’t own the original, so she rerecorded to reclaim what should be rightfully hers (she doesn’t have the masters to her old albums). Of course her voice and the production have changed a bit, but otherwise there isn’t that big a difference.
