@@sludge4125 - Interesting. I didn't think of that. I wonder if Trubisky could handle that tho? Not just physically, but mentally. I think Trubisky wants to be QB and more importantly, QB starter. I'm not sure he would be willing to play less time but more positions. It might effect him negatively. And then there's the physical concern: can Trubisky handle getting hit over and over every game?

I laugh everytime I hear them say "kid" when referring to Hill -- he's in his late 20's. But honesty, he plays like a kid who just loves football who's willing to give it his all. I think that's why people like the guy so much.

Probably cause he never knows when it will by. He had multiple season ending injuries while playing at BYU, and I swear he came back stronger every time. Definitely a special player!

I know that Brees is a HOF QB, and you have to have some loyalty as a Coach. But I'll never understand why Payton didn't use Taysom MORE against the Vikings. You've got 4 quarters, a halftime, 60 minutes, to see that some of what you were doing, some of that game plan, was not working. The few things on offense in that game consistently, Thomas, Harris, and Taysom. Should've seen it as it happened, admitted it, and rode Taysom for at least a handful more plays, and we would've won that game. Not taking anything away from Brees at all, but if you in the kitchen cooking, and you taste the gumbo, and it needs more Taysom, well you add some more gotdam Taysom! GEAUX TAYSOM!!!

Meliodas why tf would teddy play? Look I’m all for hill getting more plays but the lost wasn’t on drew brees. It was Peyton predictable play calling. He only ran the ball 16 times to the Vikings 30 something times. He gets too arrogant and defensive coordinators catch on to it quick. Teddy would not have done any better than drew and that’s a fact. Don’t forget drew torched the #2 defense for over 300 yards passing and 6total tds

They had a BYU heisman trophy QB years ago same time as Favre. Ty Detmer. He fizzled out. The coach at the time had come from BYU. I think they were not very impressed with Hill and they have Rogers. Saints took a risk. Who knew?

This is the most comprehensive Taysom video I have seen, but I want to complement you for the music choices. Love the way it builds up to a create a heroic mood at the end. Awesome editing, and I have watched a lot of Taysom videos. I appreciate his unique story. Imagine how it must have been, him sitting with the Packer coaches during the waiver process. They were going to put him on the Packers practice squad, and then he got a call from Sean Payton telling him there was a ticket waiting for him at the airport. Packers coaches go, "oh shit". Best Taysom Hill video on the Tube!

Honestly... becoming a full time QB might be a bad move. The key to his success is his flexibility and his ability to go 110% everytime he touches the ball. If you are taking every snap, thats not an option.

Agreed... He is a great gadget player and extremely effective in a limited role, but I have some serious doubts as to his ability to make good decisions throughout an entire game/season. Even when executing the read-option, his skills are not nearly as good as some of the other starters in the league. Look at the play at 6:48 for instance. If he hands that ball off to A.K., it's a touchdown. Instead, he keeps it and picks up 5. Not necessarily a bad play since he gets the first down, but it could have been better.

idc that we lost, that performance vs the Vikings in the wild card round is one of the greatest performances ive ever seen...he was willing our Saints to a win...unfortunately, we came up short. I used to think we may have the new Kordell Stewart, Antwann Randle-El, etc...screw that, the NFL has never seen a player like TH7, EVER...thank you Packers :D

It is hard to imagine life after drew but seeing taysom evolve in the offense those last few years and how he almost took care of business against minnesota, we might be in good hand, hopefully drew gives us one more year, taysom keep getting a better grasp of the offense and we win back to back championship in ‘20 & ‘21 😁 Great vid as always, best saints highlights in the business 💯

I went back home to New Orleans and hit the Saints shop in Metairie and got a damn Ingram 2 years ago bc all the Kamara and Lattimore jerseys were sold out. They had a Archie Manning for $160.00 but I was like nahhh...now my Ingram and Graham jerseys look shitty but I still have M.Thomas salute to service jersey and my pro bowl Jordan shit....damn jerseys are expensive especially if you get the REAL ones not that regular "authentic " shits with the pressed on numbers and not the real deal stitched shit

He should receive more recognition, for all those nfl players who are maybe not as polished but have given up everything to play football and dont mind gettin their hands dirty without getting no spotlight. Hill's passion and love for the game in the moment reminds me of Ryan Fitzpatrick. "Like this might be my last game ever so I gotta make it a good one." It makes me want to watch saints games because you know he's going to get a play or two. #PhinsUp!

The thing that makes him so incredibly valuable is the fact that he can handle being on the field on any type of play. So you have to worry about an NFL level QB even on punts. He shifts the focus of EVERY play he is in because you have to respect the pass every time.

I remember we (the Packers) had him in the preseason at some point a few years ago. Great performances, stats-wise overall seemed obviously better and more versatile than the other backup QB choices at the time. I was really excited about him and very confused when I read he’d been cut, especially after watching him play later on with the Saints.

packers wouldnt know how to use him, sean knows how to put his offensive guys in positions to suceed, last year deonte harris ufda out of assumption college is another example he started putting him in slot towards the tail end.

Packer fan here, I'd rather have Hill than JLove, but he didnt really fit our scheme. Payton's offense could utilize him more effectively and more often. Besides, who knew he could ball in the NFL without being broken?

You cant help but smile while watching this video. Also I think it was a great touch adding the cinematic music when you were showing the Vikings playoff game highlights. It was really his "Do you see me now" game. I dont understand how people dont believe he will translate to the qb position. This dude is the best football.player on the field when hes out there, and hes surrounded by all star players.
