He wasn’t in full throttle, there’s a slight period of time after your gears retract where you still haven’t got to the planes full speed, and if you start turning before that your plane will not gain that full throttle speed

Mr Dooce flying is actually easier once you do it a lot. AA is cancer, but attack jets can melt through LAV’s and Boat’s one strafe like they’re butter.

In BFV, to turn sharper, throttle down. It may sound risky but I've spent hours using aircraft from all factions in that game and it works. Simple throttle down, turn and hope for the best.

Same for all aircraft. In BF4, where you have a digital HUD that tells you your speed, you want to keep your aircraft at around 315 knots going into a turn, this gives you the TIGHTEST turn radius possible. It’s kind of hard to turn on a dime, going the speed of sound.

Bf5 could have made dogfights so much better considering the good job they did in Bf1. There are so many issues that make flying impossible in that game. Mainly, the AA’s are stupidly overpowered and scattered all around the maps . On top of that you have people spawn camping with the Ground-Air tank variant. Plus the game throws away all the glitches at you while flying. Sad to see such a wonderful game loosely handled by the developers

90% of that has been fixed; aa is super underpowered now, i rarely see maps with many tanks anymore and 1/20 of those tanks are aa(which once again does very little dmg now) and I think most of the glitches were at least worked on.

I do not agree. Nearly every BF5 breakthrough game I played had pilots at the top of the charts with next to zero deaths. Planes were OP in BF5 but only once you ranked them up.

I played battlefield 3 and skipped to Battlefield 5, what I can say BFV air dogfight is so dumb, no skill at all, it's just about who go to enemy tail first and that is it , you can't survive or escape after that. Compare when I play BF3 you need to know what speed is the most prefect turn in dogfight and all tactic to win enemy and you also need to be in cockpit view when fighting becauae there is no crosshair in 3rd person view. There is so much different between ACE pilot and noob about how they play a jet in BF3.

I hated how depending on what team you were on in BF5 you either had good or bad vehicles. They should of kept it how is always has been and just have the vehicles have the same weapons and speed and just the look of the vehicles would change. In BF4 A10, Frogfoot, and Fantang were all identical in speed and weapons, just looked different. That’s how it should be

Bf3 had the best dog fights, hands down (but against ground jets were a bit op). On the other hand bf4 had slightly better helicopter action. Bf5 and one's planes can go die in a ditch. Dont care for those weird spinning wings in the front.

With enough time and determention you can learn to fly pretty fast. I was horrible at bf4 flying, but after visiting empty servers to practice and learn, I quickly got the hang of it.
