I have 300 hours in this game I clearly know this game isn't good enough to recommend to friends at it's current state, but what I am trying to say is that they're finally showing the story this game has in it's lore, instead of trigger happy specialists who seem to not care about anything, they're adding the atmosphere this should've came with

Don't use aim assist. If you want to use a controller, then learn to aim with it.

I had to change them in Rainbow six: extraction too. The controls felt so bad.

@@jerroww For me it was the Axial Deadzone. I just put that on 4 for both left and right sticks. And the game felt much better to me. But also the Ratios: I have them on 70/80 the game default is 48/80. Take a screen shot of all your settings before you change settings just in case you don’t like mine. Everyone I haven’t listed is because that is default for me. My controller settings as follows: Solider Aim Sensitivity: 44 Field of View: 55 ADS FOV: Off Solider Aim Assist: 100 Zoom Snap: 100 Zoom Aim Sen: 64 Acceleration: 0 Vertical Aim Ratio: 70 Vertical Zoom Ratio: 80 Uniform: Off Coefficient: 133 Zoom Transition Smoothing: On Vehicles Aim Sens: 44 Vehicle 3rd person FOV: 50 Tank Aim: 70 Gunner Aim: 70 Transport Vehicle look sens: 80 Vehicle aim-relative controls: Off Controller Tuning. You're actually right about that, your point of aim lags a few frames behind where your sights are pointed. They also intentionally give us bad aim assist because PC players are constantly whining about it, any amount of aim assist is too much for them to deal with. They didn't copy-paste BFV's aim assist precisely because it was _good_ aim assist that would actually give console players a fair chance against PC players. Whenever you try posting about some unfair advantage that PC players have over console you'll always end up with PC players chiming in "but you get aim assist," Even if what you're pointing out is actual wall-hacks and aimbots.

Insurgency sandstorm on PS5 and hunt showdown on PS5 for me. I ain't touching another battlefield ever again. Btw ... A little secret... Everyone hated on me for saying this game was gonna be trash. Everyone hated me even more after the ATROCIOUS beta that had no aim assist, the WORST aiming with a controller since overwatch and hunt showdown on launch and...it looked BAAAAAD. It still looks bad, plays like shit and it's just the worst bf ever made and also the worst game of the year. A strong 3/10. And guess what? Everyone hated on me the same way when i said that cyberpunk gonna be trash. And same shit different game with cod mw 2019...and then cod vanguard. So...for now my shit radar isn't going off for the next cod. You might wanna try that one out. Maybe I'll let you know after a beta. Usually it takes me like..3 minutes tops to see if a game is gonna be bad or good. The battlefield 2042? Literally took me 2 minutes and i uninstalled after 10.

I added 4 on left and right sticks for axial fine tuning settings and I can finally enjoy this frustrating game. I hope it helps controller players because it definitely helped me.

The BIGGEST issue IMO is that most people playing this game on console never played BF on console back in bf3 or bf4, those games had little to no aim assist. Most players who played all the way back to 1942 and the Bad Company games (best BF games to ever release IMO) are now on pc. This game plays well on pc but theres such a lack of servers that even with my internet which i have a server in my house with a 25G switch installed so my internet isnt the issue but i experience terrible connectivity to most if not all servers when i try to play this game. 30-100 ms ping constantly. Its terrible

I understand why y’all disagree about it being like CoD, but it just doesn’t have the same feeling and time to kill as a game like BF1 and BF5. Granted those weren’t set in the future, but I feel like the time to kill is too fast in 2042. This is just from what I’ve seen on clips.

@@adrianpolecki4278 try trying to shoot someone but there’s in invisible bubble around the person. I agree that most console players want the game to aim for them. I think I’m an above average player but even being up close to enemies and it’s just a fight with the game to make adjustments while aiming because it might overreact and move to much, it might barley move. There’s no consistency with the weapons except snipers. But I agree console players need to learn to aim better on every other game

I use controller and i have been thinking the same thing but i don't know. Aim assist for me messes up everything and it does more harm than good imo so i just disable it completely.

IMO the aim assist has been greatly improved. I go with the SFAR so I really notice that tracking moving targets is smoother. Seems like they got rid of Input lag too. ADS while shooting at a moving target is way smoother now.

@@canman87 I play on pc but have lots of experience with controllers. As it is much harder to track targets with a controller opposed to a mouse, aim assist helps by sort of auto tracking the target slightly making it so that controller players don’t have to keep moving the stick to keep the target in sight
