Man Stuart was witty as fuck. Still had the air of cynicism and slight depression but... realistic. Channelled it outwards. Practically no self-pity, just banter and helpfulness. Then they turned him into the stereotype of an introvert.

I know, he's perfectly capable of holding down a conversation with a beautiful woman. Then the next thing you know, they dumbed him down starting with ignoring Penny to settle a comic book argument with Sheldon and Leonard.

Kinda of funny how Stuart’s character went from good to bad whilst Amy went from bad to good. She was a practically a robot when introduced and then they humanised her majorly later on.

It's funny how that multiverse joke wouldn't land in today. Multiverses are huge these days thanks to movies like Spider-Verse, Everything Everywhere All at Once, the MCU, etc popularizing the concept. They are now part of the public consciousness whereas when this show first came out just 10 years ago, most people wouldn't know what they were.

Flanderization. Because the audience laughed at how awkward he was the writers kept making him more so and eventually that just became his character. Still, he at least got a girl before Raj so I'd consider that a win!

Instead of saying he was simply demoted, ask yourself how his character changed over the course of the show. Sure he was confident here at first, but over time his real self emerged and Penny got to see him for who he really was.

I think part of why Stewart was changed was because he was making all the main guys look so bad. They were that stereotype whereas Stuart was a nerd but he was also funny and friendly in a way that penny would be used to and knew how to flirt well

Yeah it's been a long time since Stewart used to be a sweetheart. He was a threat to Leonard in this episode, and later he also became a threat to Sheldon. In a way, he helped Leonard and Penny's, and Sheldon and Amy's relationships. Now he is like a disease that nobody wants to touch.

1:24 Penny thinks that any adult who likes comic books and fantasy is a weirdo. For those that don't know, here in Austin there is a popular place called 6th Street. It's a place that from stem to stern is nothing but bars and a lot of "showing off" by the scantily clad ladies. One time when my brother was there he saw a girl that had plastic horns in her head. Not on her head. Literally in her head. Like they had been surgically implanted at the top of her forehead. And Penny enjoys going to places where that girl enjoys going. You tell me which one has the biggest weirdo.

When i saw that scene first time, it kind of sting to see the City of heoes/ villains cupboartd cutout in the background cause the game was closed for a long time at the time. Thankfully it can be played again on the homecoming servers nowadays, so the scene doesnt sting so bad anymore.

houndsofroses for example, the marvel multiverse, with all the different marvel universes such as the main marvel universe, the ultimate marvel universe, and so on.

mryoyoserpico basically, when you want refer to a physical theory abstracting about more than one universe , then the theory is called a multiversal theory. and the term itself refers to the existence of more than one universe. Some examples of such theories are eternal inflation, many world's interpretation of quantum mechanics, string theory (on which Sheldon evidently works ) and it has been referred quite often in many mangas , anime shows and comic books

A physicist, Hugh Everett, came up with the theory of the many - worlds interpretation (MWI) in the 1950s, his theory correlated with quantum mechanics by asserting that an objective reality of a universal wave function can deny the actuality of a wave-function collapse. If his theory is correct it can imply that the (MWI) can have an infinite amount of possibilities of alternate histories and futures on other possible Earths.
