I think Tampa handles these tributes so well. Each one has so much emotion.

Hello, czech NHL fan here. I just wanted to add that Palát's story is from zero to hero. He comes from poverty. Hockey is an expensive game to play in terms of equipment and his parents, while supportive of his hockey carreer couldn't affort even a single full set of equipment for their son, so Pally was playing in other player's old equipment. And eventho he became rich in NHL, he always stayed humble. He has an indomitable workhorse spirit - everything he has is earned, nothing granted. He already reached a Stanley Cup and recently a Hockey Championship gold medal. I'm glad that others are recognising that. He earned that recognition😊

I was at the Lightning-Devils game tonight when you shared this on the big screen. Between this and when you zoomed in on Palat’s face live, it moved me to tears. Hat’s off to you, TBL.

I think losing Pally hits the hardest simply because the cap just screwed us over and we couldn’t resign him, miss you Pally and your clutch playoff goals

The key to the entire Tampa offense was Palat. Yes, Kuch is more skilled. Stamkos is a good sniper-opportunist. But Palat was the center of everything dynamic that happened. Cooper knew the extreme importance of Palat and saw his era end when Palat left the team.

Why did we trade this guy, he is an amazing player!?
@youknowimright.3137 Жыл бұрын
We didn't trade him. We lost him via free agency because of the salary cap.
