WELL I GUESS ITS ABOUT TIME WE DID SOME "BEST OF" VIDEOS FOR OUR SUBSCRIBERS TO CATCH UP ON OVER 2018,
IVE NEVER BOTHERED BEFORE BECAUSE THERE IS A LOT OF WORK INVOLVED EDITING THE VIDS BUT IVE GIVEN IT A GO AND HOPE YOU ALL LIKE IT AND IT BRINGS BACK SOME GOOD MEMORIES IF YOUVE PREVIOUSLY WATCHED THE FULL LENGTH VIDEOS,
I CANNOT BELEIVE HOW WELL OUR CHANNEL HAS GROWN OVER THE LAST 12 / 18 MONTHS - 118,000 SUBSCRIBERS WITH 95 MILLION VIEWS OVER ITS LIFETIME ! MANY THANKS MUST GO TO YOU - ALL OUR SUBSCRIBERS AND FOLLOWERS THAT HAVE SUPPORTED US OVER THE YEARS (9 YRS SINCE WE STARTED)
WE ARE PROUD OF THE FACT THAT WE HAVE NEVER PAID FOR EXTRA VIEWS OR TRIED TO BOOST OUR CHANNEL IN ANY WAY (UNLIKE OTHER CHANNELS IN THE UK), WE HAVE JUST WORKED HARD AT GIVING YOU ALL THE BEST VIDEOS AND STILL PICTURES THAT WE CAN AND STOOD BACK AND WATCHED THE CHANNEL GROW NATURALY !
ALSO WE HAVE NEVER STOLEN OTHER PEOPLES VIDEOS (UNLIKE OTHER CHANNELS HERE IN THE UK THAT DO IT TO BOOST VIEWS AND SUBSCRIBERS) EVEN THOUGH WE ARE REGULARLY HAVING VIDEOS STOLEN FROM OUR CHANNEL AND UPLOADED BY UNSCRUPULOUS SCUMBAGS ALL OVER THE WORLD (SURE MAKES US ANGRY)

I remember seeing that gorgeous flying barrel scratch built by a very talented Dutch R/C Engineer. What a pleasure it was to meet him and see this aircraft.

I'm old. I tell stories. It's what 'boomers' do. This one true: seeing those wing tips touch the tarmac reminded me of landing at SeaTac (SEA) in a 737-400. At about 15' up a wind shear slapped the right wing tip down HARD on the runway. almost off the edge of the runway. We did a little tire screeching dance right then left and eventually came to a nice stop. It was a thrill! I fly and I knew I was about to die! I'm sure the crew in the cabin had wet their 'draws'. Thanks for listening. Uh, reading. Don't mind me- I'm old. I'm retired. I'm 60!

Maybe I'm in the minority, but a jet-powered "glider" performing aerobatics defeats the purpose of having a sailplane. Sad.

i think the other way - best of both worlds, a sport turbine model that doesn't need towing up then retract the turbine and fly the thermals and when they run out pop up the turbine and off you go - whats not to like darell ?

@@tbobborap1 I didn't see much riding of thermals in this clip, and the only glide I saw was a deadstick landing. If the guy wanted a sport plane, why not just build a sport model? It would've done the job better. He obviously didn't want a sailplane.
