Hi everyone just a few things I did not mention. After install the V2 gimbals calibrated perfectly with no issues. Overall they are really nice and smooth but as I said it’s hard to say that’s not the new lub playing a lot part as well. If your gimbals are worn then your going to notice a much bigger improvement too. Overall the V2 are an noce improvement but that’s not to say the V1 gimbal was bad. I stand by the fact it’s nice to see tbh improve tolerances but it’s hard to say if it’s worth the upgrade alone just for that. The pro upgrade is nice though and I highly recommend the TBS lub pack. I’d love to try the CNC ones from Pyrodrone but I’m not sure I can justify the expense on this right now. It’s something to think about for sure and they look great but I need to work out if the cost is worth it.

Pyro taking preorders, $129 for a gimbal at the end of the month. Mean while i've sold about 40 of the $15 gimbals and about 15 of the $26 folding gimbals...i ask pyro to sell me the CnC version but got left on read 🤷‍♂️

pretty clean design and well described screws which I like compared to jumper and radiomaster radios

I replaced my Mambo Gimbals a few days ago.. I went with the translucent damping lube on the springs and rocker arm... I really like how they take out any loose feeling in the center as I like my springs very loose. Overall, I had a very similar experience to what Mads describes in the video. Thanks Ian!

Just did both gimbals on my 2 Tango 2's today..twas raining ALL day here...yep,took me about 5 hours total..AND there is a teensy weensy difference in the feel as long as you grease them both up. Maybe if you just greased the ordinary gimbals you already have....they'd feel the same.😉🤣

😂 your like me! I dont use tracer! But i have the mambo, run Crossfire only as well. & form factor is perfect! Full size Transmitter but more compact then most full size transmitters. Just feels great definitely my favorite

Really great video. I bought the Mambo a year or so ago and at the time i thought that it was one of the best designs available but now for sure you have to consider the RadioMaster Boxer radio - looks like a near twin of the Mambo! I think the RadioMaster has 2 big advantages - 1: the AG01 gimbals can be installed - so if you are of that caliber that only the best will do, you can have it. And 2 - it is NOT running some fork or port or whatever of Edge TX it runs actual Edge TX - COME ON TBS - get in the game here! You left a lot of us kind of hanging on "oh, no worries, it will be good for Edge TX soon..." Soon as in soon.... as we get around to it. For what it is worth I have really only had very minor problems (so far) with my gimbals and overall really I am not at an advanced level yet so Freedom TX will be OK... but still, the Boxer is here now and I am kind of mad and jealous!!! So Mads Tech - which one would you choose!?!?!? (I thought right when typing this that you probably have reviewed that radio so I paused here and checked your channel and found your review - sounds about right that Boxer is the clear winner). Also sorry to hear the "you are a shill" accusations, geez - what a burn - what you think I am just a fanboy of the Boxer - here, check out my Mambo!!!) Also I do agree about the tracer and switching modules but for me - again a newbee - I don't fly that much and it is not too much of an issue. I have to admit after mulling over this stuff so much I have developed a taste for the gamepad style radio's now - I saw a Zorro that was upgraded and it looked really awesome. That radio and the Jumper T-Pro and other gamepad radios are not "lesser" radios really, or yea, they have a few less features, etc... but they are completely legit - example is that you can put the AG01 gimbals into the Zorro so you would have the best available gimbals - Cheers!

I would also say they are not really an upgrade, but a very good replacement part if you break a spring like I did on my standard gimbals.

Why is it that only Flysky and TBS use flying magnet gimbals? They are objectively superior to wired gimbals. Basicly the way they work is that the gimbal mechanics are just a carrier for a magnet that is "flown" over a 3 axis hall sensor on a PCB below the gimbal so there are no moving wires.

Pyrodrone has just posted a pre-order for a CNC gimbal for both the Mambo and Tango2. Very expensive...

I had Demoed these Gimbals for about 4 months or so and I see a great improvement, will be demoing the pyro CNC gimbals but I do wish they did the standard style (non folding). But, I think you should of had done this video awhile ago imo.

People asked for them because of complaints of gimbal drift with V1, if you don't suffer with it don't change them. Mine wondered about like a tarts arse in the summer so at some point i will change them. TX16S MK2 ftw.
