Great video! I purchased this to use in a solo gig at assisted living homes for the elderly. It's great for playing the harmonica. It has a lot of choices to get the sound you want and also makes your voice sound great when the time comes for you to sing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the TC Helicon with us. I love mine! I love how it makes my guitar and voice sound. It also has an aux input which I have connected to my IPad for triggering pad loops. I have made the first three harmony presets favourites and circle through them depending on the sound I am after - the guitar tuner is a bonus. One thing that was not mentioned is that it also has a simple looper but the recording time is not very long so manly useful for messing around.

Been using mine to lead worship for about 6 years now. I bury the harmonies so that it blends in with our other singers and makes it sound like more people singing. It's an amazing tool for any acoustic guitar playing worship leader, and if mine ever broke, I'd order another immediately! Does wonders for my guitar tone and my vocal.

Been thinkg about getting one for a few months but I just wasn't convinced but now I am. Cant wait would love to have one.

- can I push a button for guitar delay on/off? (or do i have to do it by different channels?) - looper works for vocals and guitar at the same time, right? - are there also distorted effects for the guitar part? but crunchy etc? - if you switch the channels is there no noise-break or anything?

If i buy this, and plug the output into the input of my dslr camera. Will it work? And how about directly onti my phone with the necessary adapters. Does it need an interface or mixer to go into a pc?

Great video for a high level introduction. I also got a Switch 6 for mine and I wish there were some videos on how to best use this for a gig... with looping, and favorite presets for set list.

I have a question, the "big harmony" in the unit, as shown in the unit during your song demo, is it a preset or your own created favorite? as I could not locate it in the entire unit. The reason being that I am unable to create or locate the super vocal settings with reverb/delay and harmony like you. Will appreciate your guidance. I am using an SM 58, Please note that I am referring to vocals only thanks.

I got this as soon as it came out. very useful for me! however I bought the eclectic version, for the flexibility to able to serve with electric guitar. however when I lead, I use my acoustic electric Taylor 314 with the electric TC. for everything this offers it is a great deal! must have for any worship leader!

Hello TC Helicon, I hope you can help me out. I recently got a playacoustic and a brand new sennheiser e835 mic. I use the playacoustic with my headphones (marshall). When i listen closely I hear weird sounds. I can’t discribe it but weird cracking and flanger type of sound. You can hear this the best on preset 40 (Believe). This preset is totally useless because the weird sound is really loud. I tried to pit down the mic gain you can still hear it even when unplugged. When i change from preset 40 to 41 it goed a little bit away. But when i press 40 again en talk in the mic it starts again. I really want the product what can i do about this?

I have a question so if I have a behringer 1202 mix board that has the recording capability could I plug this into the mix board/pa system through a 1/4 inch jack or through xlr jacks?

Do you know which input on an amp would be better between the line in, or the 1/4 guitar input?

Absolutely love this piece of kit.... Brian ~ What delay was that you were using ? Analog,digital, tape ? Use harmonies sparringly. Tap tempo for delay ~ up and hit buttons together.

Iwas discouraged with my new Voicelice Acoustic, and was considering returning it. You taught me how to use it though, after watching several other "tutorials". I am now saving presets to certain songs, and have saved a "general" preset. Thank You. taking the harmony down to -12 , -18 db really helps, and also adding delay on the harmony makes it sound much more realistic. I don't like delay most times, as it doesn't sound so natural, but it helps a lot with the harmony. Thanks Again.

Hi, your counsil is to work with 120 (Harmony big), 121 (Harmony subtle) and 122 (Vox Fx wet/dry) presets but I don't find them in my Play acoustic. What can I do? Then I lost a preset (Wishuhere) and I don't know how to refind it. Thanks for your useful review !

Are the EQ settings on the Mixer on? Or its better i only use the Settings on the Tc helicon Board? I mean the 3 band EQ on the Mixer...You know? Or are the EQ on the Mixer flat and all the settings for voice and guitar Came only from the Tc helicon board? ( sorry Fort My english...i'm from germany :-) ) greets mike

This is exactly why I'm picking one of these up. I figure maybe I'll use it if I record KZfaq videos or play out now and then, but my primary use will be worship leading when it's just me up there and my guitar. EDIT: Picked one up and already started using it for worship leading. Oh by the way, the compression is built in.

When the harmonies are not on what setting is the default and how do you set that up when the hit is not on? The manual is very unclear on this.

Thanks for the great review! Still got one question. Can you save presets and put them in the right order? So when you're playing a song and you want one harmony in the verse and two in the chorus you can quickly switch them during the song just by changing the preset with your foot?

I think what the problem is, if you are flat or sharp in your melody, the harmonies will ALSO be off key. Can you put the harmonies in auto tune but NOT the melody?

Anyone can help me I'm having trouble figuring out when I hit the vocal presets ups or down it seems to always change also the guitar tone with effects. Anyway to disarm that feature or is it set to do this ? Anyone can help me on this be greatly appreciated.

I'm a singer using backing tracks plus (jazz sax flute violinist). I play keyboards but don't want to worry about setting keys. I have a Boss VE20....so what does this do that my VE doesn't?

I’m not at all tech savvy, but I was wondering how I can play through this tc helicon whilst live-streaming? Do I need an audio interface as well? Like, could I set up my mic and guitar through tc helicon, then connect that via a single output (like already mixed on the helicon) and put that output through an audio interface, then plug the interface into my phone, and just strait up live stream? Or do I need to put it through some sort of DAW thingo? Just wanting to keep it simple, but love the helicon’s vocal effects.

I have one of these and I love it. Unfortunately the sound that you hear from the headphones is different to what it goes to the sound desk through the XLR cables. It seems that somehow it loses part of the effects and EQ... Did you feel that too?!
