Thank you for the upload. As I love both Rose and Szell, your upload is a wonderful gift for me. I also appreciate the photos. I didn't know how Rose looked like. Well, he is much more handsome than I had expected. :)

According to Tchaikovsky Research, the recording was actually made on January 8, 1952, not 1956.

Thanks for sharing Rose's earlier version of the Variations. Btw, there's a fascinating book, "Leonard Rose, America's Golden Age and it's First Cellist," by Steve Honigberg well worth checking out!
