It's about time TCM made an intro for this Noir-Western classic, and with Martin Scorsese no less! Blood On The Moon really was one of the great post-war anti-hero Westerns that came out in the late 1940s that really changed the genre going forward, alongside Red River, Treasure Of The Sierra Madre, Fort Apache, and Yellow Sky. Robert Mitchum, Robert Preston, and Barbara Bel Geddes all gave amazing performances in this. Robert Wise was also definitely a master of all genres, and a chameleon.
