Just because you're not "on" when you're off camera is a poor way to judge affability-even off camera nobody can be "on" 24/7. You're a very poor judge of character-knowing Bob as I did, he was a very low key, private individual off stage but very approachable-there's no facade-Bob was a good person and is very much missed by those who knew him. What you see here is how he was-in discussing the plight of animals, Bob was serious-no one's demeanor is always the same all the time. If you were to sit down and talk with Bob, this is how he would be.

He was talking about eagles and at that point they were endangered and at risk of extinction. Did you expect him to smile during that? As an animal lover he was distraught at the plight of the Eagle at that time. As were many of us. Get over yourself.
