TDA1541(A) based Raspberry Pi Streamer

The output level of the TDA1541(A) with passive I/V of 50R resistor is around 150mVpp. This voltage cannot drive most of the power amps at a later stage. Therefore voltage magnification is needed.
There are several ways to magnify the signals - op-amps, output transformers and tube pre-amp. In this video, I will share my finding of using output transformers and a tube pre-amp (12AU7).
Correction: Gain of 600:15K output transformer is 5x

Nice video. I've been playing with the TDA for a long time. If I may , change regs to shunt type you'll be surprise of the improvement. I/V resistor type used paramount importance. You just have to experiment with it. For me shinkoh works best, tried many brands

@@vincentfong4154 There's lots of things you can do around the Tda to improve sound. Yes I/V resisitors is very important. I see that your going passive with step up transformer but the set back is dynamics wont be good. You need to increase current flow & lower ouput impedance.
