Fuck, I actually remember all of those minifigs from the 1995-1999 period. I used to check them out in those promotional LEGO booklets all the time. Such a nostalgia trip. The set mentioned at 4:49 in particular is something I vividly remember seeing.

Oh man, the Exoforce sets were really cool. The setting is a mountain split cleanly in the middle, with both sides connected by bridges, and two mech-piloting battling factions of anime boys with rubber hair (not hard plastic surprisingly) vs evil robots, fighting to conquer the whole mountain for… reasons?
