Pre-Startup Preparation

Startup Guide
Power On Your NS Switch Console
Ensure your NS Switch is powered on and properly connected to your display. If you encounter any issues, refer to the Switch user manual for assistance.
Connect TDC10 Drum Controller
Connect the TDC10 Drum Controller to your NS Switch using the USB cable provided. Insert the cable into Port A located at the back of the TDC10.
Once connected, the back indicator light on the TDC10 should illuminate, indicating the controller is powered and operational. Wait for it to sync with the App.
Launch the "TDC Mate" App on Your Smartphone
Open the "TDC Mate" app on your smartphone. Make sure your smartphone is within two meters of the TDC10 for optimal connectivity.
The app will automatically search for and connect to the TDC10. Once connected, the Bluetooth signal icon at the bottom left of the app will indicate a successful connection. The app will adjust to match the button layout of the NS Switch controller.
Navigate and Start "Taiko no Tatsujin"
Use the app's interface to interact with the game screen and start "Taiko no Tatsujin." It's crucial to initiate the game through the app's buttons. Starting from a physical Switch controller may affect the TDC10's functionality.
In-Game Settings
During the startup of "Taiko no Tatsujin," you will encounter several setup options:
Player Role: Choose any pre-set role.
Play Mode: Select "1P mode."
Controller Type: Choose "Play with Drum Controller."
