I finally got the courage to leave an abusive relationship after 5 years

I’ve spent all of my life wondering why God chose me, why I was the outcast why I was the black sheep, why I always felt different from my family, from my friends even the two people that birthed me. Why God gave me so many gifts that he didn’t give my brothers and sisters. Why I had an anointing on me from the age of 5. Why I always had a relationship with God. I was counted out from a young age. Misunderstood abused mentally and emotionally. Abandoned, weakened, humiliated, used for my kindness, my generosity. Now I’m alone, isolated, lost my job, my boyfriend left me for someone who has more. In the midnight hour all I have is Jesus. The word of God strengthens me. I have so many ashes. God is using me for something greater. For something He put on the inside of me, before I was created. I give Him my all. Every tear every burden my joys and my pain. I lay it all out for Him. Amen 💙😇😇

I watched this earlier today, I had to watch again tonight. My 10 month old son, watched me cry. The sweetest thing, I looked into his eyes and they spoke to me, Mommy, don’t cry. He wiped my tears, laid his head on my chest until I finished crying and thanking God.

Thank you Bishop Jake's for this on time message. I lost my mom 2 years ago this month. She was a strong woman. She started breaking bondages that held our family captive from growing beyond generational curses. As a child I did not realize the sacrifice she made for me to be the woman I am today. Through her death God showed me her life. The life she hurt so badly from she couldn't dare tell her daughters. I am my mother's child and have had to break unhealthy bondage from family members and friends. I have chosen the be the one to speak up on all the hurt, jealousy, and pain our family has hidden. For that, I have been talked about and given the silent treatment from people who helped raise me. I thank God for the courage of my mother. The tough skin but yet gentle heart God has put in me allows me to know that God alone is all I need. I was pregnant at 15 and graduated from highschool with 2 children under 2 years old. I now have 3 sons that are thriving in life and college graduates. I am grateful for the bond my mother broke so long ago and died before she could see the full beauty of her ashes. I realize I must continue the legacy she began to build. God has given me the vision and resources to do great things in our community and family. I will not let my ashes or my Mother's ashes be in vain. Thank you for this word of enlightenment and encouragement. I pray for you and your ministry. Thank you, Bishop Jakes.

Lately, rejected and excluded by friends and church people.......yet, I had spiritual gifts, Wisdom and Discernment that others did not have. These gifts were not recognised until I was over 70 years old, and so it is only now, in my old age, when I now know how blessed I am, that I am valued and accepted by my fellow Christians.......I know my future will be secure,; but what a long and painful apprenticeship!!!! This sermon brought me to tears 😢, and to my knees this morning. I cried and prayed and asked Jesus to come into my life. I've been through so much until I am just ready to give up! These ashes have been more than I can bare anymore. I've been praying for a breakthrough. God is so good. I quieted myself this morning just to listen to Bishop Jakes and I was in 😢 by the end of his sermon. Listening is giving me hope that God knows what I am going through. Trusting in Him, that what He started, He will see it through to completion because I don't believe He brought me this far to leave me!

This man is preaching as though every seat in the auditorium is filled. The only possible way you would know he is in the midst of a pandemic, is if you look at his jeans and handkerchief. His words, body language para linguistics show obvious anointment from the Most High. At a time when we have lost so much, I can't help but give thanks that we are still graced by a man with such divine intensity flowing through his veins for so many years. I'm deeply appreciative of Pastor Jakes presence and feel comforted by that fact he still walks the earth.
