Thank you for such an informative video for everyone who wants to go to USJ. Your videos has been very helpful especially on our last USJ trip. We took your food recommendations seriously as to not waste time lining up and end up not liking the food. Also the USJ app tips are definitely a hack, not everyone (especially foreigners) use the app for the timed entry tickets.

Last October, we entered the park about an hour after opening and there was only 1 time entry slot left for Super Mario World. It was the 6:30pm slot and we feel it wasn't enough time before the park closing time. I felt bad for my little nephew because he was looking forward to it the most.

Of course I prioritized DisneySea on my first trip to Japan, but I also spent a few days in Osaka and decided to go to Universal Japan for a day. It was amazing! Plus they have JAWS! I blew more money on Snoopy and Nintendo merch than I spent in all of Tokyo Disney and the city of Tokyo combined. 🤣 This was easily the best “movie studio” theme park I’ve ever visited.

For Muslims ladies, if you wear scarf, USJ staff will provide clips at ride entrance so that your scart won't fly off on roller coasters.

I'm going in October but am worried about certain rides because I get motion sickness so would love to know more about the rides themselves!

Thank you so much for the video! Unfortunately we „overslept“ the in advance booking time, no express passes available at all.. Where can I find the blackout days in general so I can see if it’s a busy day? And will we still have a chance without an express pass to enjoy the Super Nintendo world when we get there one and a half hour earlier for example? Aren’t we able to get any express pass at all now?

Hi Chris, I m going to USj first time in Dec (from overseas) and m thinking of doing 3 days with the Prime Standard pass. I checked that those 3 days arent blacked out dates. Is it safe to apply for my pass one day before onsite ? (I am staying at a hotel onsite that period). Will a pass holder be denied entry if it gets crowded? Thanks!

Thank you very much making this video. I have just ordered USJ Express Pass 7 (spiderman) x 2 for my children yesterday at Klook and sent them the vouchers by email. Do they need to exchange for a "pass" at gate/ticket office on site when they arrive? The package details said "Admission to Universal Studios Japan (must be purchased separately)", does it mean I need to buy another set of USJ admission tickets for them? But I couldn't find it in Klook. Should my children line up early at gate to buy the entry tickets when they arrive Osaka? We are new travelers for japan. Please kindly advise. Thank you.

Looking for information about *Universal Prime Annual Pass Grand Royal*. It's only available on the USJ's Japanese version website as I understand it. Do you happen to know if it includes unlimited 'queue jumps' on all attractions (basic and time entries)? I could not find and confirm this feature/benefit in any Universal Studio Japan official web pages any where. Thanks in advance, great video!

Hi Chris! Thank you for your video. I had a question. I'm going on January 19th and I bought an express pass with my timed-entry for Super Nintendo World. I messed up because I got an express pass where the times are so close to each other & we wouldn't have time to do Yoshi's Adventure. How often are non-timed entry mornings occur? If I already have an express pass but I'm there an hour early before park opens, am I still able to get another timed-entry? I feel like I'm missing out on the land because the times are so stacked in our express passes :( Thank you for your help!

Hi @tdrexplorer, thanks for the video.planning my forst trip to USJ on the 4th of April. i can get entry tickets now but Exptess Pass 4 thrills is only available up til the 29th of Feb. Do you know from your experience when dates after the 29th of feb might be made available? The "Fun" express pass seems to be the only one available post Feb 29. Thank you

Can someone help me? With the express passes, is there a grace period for the times? For example I have 18:30-19:00 for Mario kart but what if we’re late? Cause we then have yoshi 19:00-19:30 so if we’re late for one it could have a knock on effect. TIA

Hello Chris we got Espress Passes for Super Mario World at 3pm. Can we get the timed ticket for Kinopio Cafe at that time or do we have to get it when we get to the park but how can we get into the restaurant in the morning when we get there at 8am to get the ticket? Im afraid to show up to Mario World at 3pm and that the cafe is sold out for the day...17:33

On the app it says that there aren't Timed eTickets anymore for the Nintendo World. So, I can just go to the kiosk in the USJ and get there a timed ticket?

can i use my ticket on my phone or do i need to print it out? And that drone shot at the start with the massive lines, are some of those lines ones for buying tickets, and some of those are just for scanning? Im guessing the scanning line will move much faster if so cause that looks super busy!

Hi! First time traveler here! I clicked your klook link for wifi device but I'm a bit confused on the bit where it asks for date length and device at checkouts. Is it asking for how many wifi devices we want or how many devices gonna be connected? (This is only confusing because in the info section it said 'if you need multiple wifi devices then book seperately' so I was wondering if it wants the connected devices, but then why does it say up to 5 connected devices in info section, that makes it sound like thats whats allowed for that price range😖) Thank you for your help~
