I love seeing the old southern towns, complete with the Coke/Pepsi signs. So much history hidden in places that are too often passed by.

Adam the movie called The Bell Witch Haunting was shot in Hendersonville , Tennessee at Rock Castle.. about story of John Bell.. I did the music for the movie soundtrack..

Holy crap, Adam! I spent so much of my childhood in Pembroke! One of my best friends lived there. So many memories skating around that tiny town! Beautiful out there. Once two Amish kids wanted to race us on their bikes. Love the adventures man! stay safe out there

my mom and dad went ..we live in Tn now... my dad smuggled camera in and my mom took a rock.....needless to say dad had to get a new camera and as mom was leaving cave something came down and took a quarter size chunk out of her scalp causing her to drop that rock and sending her for stitches....ya that place is real..... we are from Cali.....

Actually, on the cabin you showed, the plaque said that cabin wasn't part of the family residence. That it was the only surviving structure built by members of the Bell family. I was thinking that cabin was very small for a family of some means.

WOW, that stone mansion is incredible. Would LOVE to live in it!! Such a charming old town. Cool to see how the streets and shops looked back in the 1940's.

My history teacher in college was a direct descendant of the Bell witch. Mr Bell he was awesome. I was use to hunt near the Bell Witch cave too!

Kentucky has 120 counties. Coyotes have been documented in all of them. I live next to a large farm and I hear them "sing" almost every night. In Kentucky, there are so many of them, coyote season has been been extended to 365 days a year. All you need is a hunting license.

Years ago when my wife and I were on road trip going thru Pembroke we stopped for some supper and a drink. I struck up a casual conversation with one of the locals in the bar we were at and he said he would like to introduce us to his wife and sister that were sitting at the table behind us. I turned around to look and there was only one woman sitting there. well that's Kentucky for ya.!!!!

I have seen the pink elephants while driving from IL to FL. I thought they were taking them down...so it's pretty cool to see them still up!

I stayed inside the Bellwitch cave a few times back in the 80s. It was pretty common to let groups stay inside overnight.

Grew up not far from Adams in Springfield tenn, always knew of the Witch.

Welcome to my part of the country Adam. The siren you were referring to in Trenton is part of a weather warning system called a COWS system. They are used during severe weather as a warning device when there is a threat of tornados or other severe weather event. If you continue down HWY 41, you will eventually come to a town called Springfield. If you turn left (north) on HWY 431 and come to a small town called Russellville, I could show you some other interesting sites filled with history. Safe travels wherever you go.

And there is a cemetery that has a large majority of the Bell descendants buried in it just down the road from that old school that is now a museum on that same side of the road he probably would have visited had it not been raining. Strangely it was raining the last time I was there as well.

Bell was an Irish/Scottish name. Graham a good example. He invented something that used to ring oddly enough! Bel was a deity in Ireland.

My grandparents used to own a restaurant in Guthrie Kentucky and every time we went to see them we went through Adams and it used to creep me out.

The witch is the cause of all the rain!!! She's a real Bell-weather!

adam, this must have been yesterday, the black/white cow is where we buy lottery tickets, the museum in adams they have a fiddler's/bluegrass competition every year & tractors/antique, i played hammered dulcimer w/a guitarist on that back porch of the bell cabin! ty for the video & the memories!...you must be headed to nashville i think.

Hey Adam! I live about 30 minutes from Adams. Grew up hearing the story. If you are ever back in the area let me know. I can take you to where the Bell home originally stood. The family well is still there as well as the grave of John Bell in the woods. Good stuff!

My nephew's wife had a step dad that was related to the Bell Witch. I have always likes the paranormal stuff so when she told me that her step dad was related to the Bell Witch. I thought it was awesome.

adam, there is an old saying around here, i live in sinking fork, ky but it applies to the surrounding areas of the bell witch, that on halloween eve, if you say 'bell witch' thirteen times while looking in a mirror, the bell witch would appear and scratch your face.

From 00;00 to 04;00, Ive been on that stretch of road many times going to a customer in my big rig. In fact,Ive wanted to check out the BBQ place where that cow is,but there isn't any big rig parking. Ive thought about taking a weekend and driving down there and checking it out.

Just a thought Jonesbourgh TN would be a cool place for you to visit. It's the oldest town in TN. Lots of history there. I grew up in the city next to it called Johnson City and my parents still live there. My Dad could tell you a lot of cool stories about the area. :)

I have been to Adams,Tn twice to visit the sites related to the Bell witch haunting. Very intriguing.

I think that thing is a tornado siren. There are way too many coyotes in Kentucky. They are mostly afraid of humans but they can get pretty ballsy at times.

That's right down the road from me. As for the bell witch cave tour...while the sign says profanity and alcohol prohibited, the guy running the ticket trailer didn't care about that. I asked a few questions and at my fourth, he said asked with his Busch beer breath, so you want to see the fucking cave or not quit wasting my time. I haven't bothered going back. This was october 2014. I'm not sure if they are under new management and I haven't bothered to check. It was a bummer.

lol I live down the road, we call them "lights" cowbell, they let you know when a server storm is coming. funny thing my wife and I went to the cave today.

Hey Adam, if you head up to Morristown Tennessee check out the location they shot "Evil Dead".. I don't think the cabin is there but there are remnants of the bridge, basement and the fireplace.....great video btw,
