The high pitch is completely wrong. That is how I know they are not Tahitian but from the US. Watch videos from the Heiva i Tahiti. You will have the real thing. It is shout of happiness. We do not shout all at once either.

The shrieking at the same time is annoying..it's not tahitian..

I would think since it says Pacific Island festival there would be SEVERAL different islands represented..

It's outside of Tahiti so to expect them to be Tahitian is not realistic. To claim that Japanese people, or anyone who are not Polynesian who dances Ori Tahiti are wannabes are not only prejudice, and ignorant, but racist! Many a group in Japan are taught by Tahitians, even have Tahitians leaders, and goes to Tahiti to compete every year, and they are good at it. Learning a cultural dance that are different from your own culture isn't being a wannabe. Get your head out of your ass, and get educated! People like you are like poison, and has no real purpose in this world than to bring forth hatred, and conflict!

@@kilipaki87oritahiti That's not the case. What _you_ described is completely fine, It's just that us Polynesians are weary of asians, because people think we are asians. Everyone thinks we have pale skin and straight black hair and asian eyes. What the comment above said was justified and made sense. It was not racist.
