Teac knew how to build great reel to reels. Not only do they sound great, but are built like tanks.

@@crisantosantaana Tape lifters grease has dried up and are stuck. The lifters need to be cleaned and re-lubricated.

Thanks for sharing! I have an A-3300S Model with a sticky pinch roller lever also. Would you please share the basic steps you took to kube yours? I have an X-10R also and it's much easier to access the levers by only removing some trim on the front.

You can access the tape lifting and pinch roller arm through the back, or the front. I’ve done it both ways.

@@marcusdolby1 Thanks for the reply! The 3300S doesn't have a lifting arm. Which is easier? I can see how to remove the back covrer, but not the front.

@@dickvalentineshow There are several videos right here on KZfaq showing how to repair the stuck pinch roller. I think you should watch those. But in general I would stick to doing it from the back.
