You’re a mother of 4, so you must have had to homeschool your children whilst you were expecting. I find it difficult to do so with the tiredness of pregnancy, so you have any tips, please?

I started a week ago to use this vowels chart to teach my severely autistic son his vowels. He has limited vocabulary but he is able to speak or repeat the sounds . It is hilarious for me when I made the sign for octopus and elephant ... See him laughing like that while he learn his bowels is sooo heartwarming. I have to keep practicing but after a week he is able to recognize the vowel sound “ O” which is the first letter of his name. He loves this game so much and it’s very very entertaining for him . Thanks Jady. I’m attached to all of your work 😊

You have the best ideas for teaching reading. Incorporating movement into letter sounds is a game changer. I taught my energetic & uninterested preschooler letter sounds in 1 week. We used the see, hear, do letter sounds by Stephanie Hohl. But essentially you're just doing exactly what you showed with the vowels. The only problem with the book is it moves too quickly for actually reading cvc words. That's why I love your binder idea for blending. Going to try that out and this vowel technique. Thanks again! :)

Hey, Jady. I just ordered a bunch of your workbooks from TPT, and I have a question about the states and capitals book. How do you store those tiny little capitals after they’re cut out? I’d like to keep them separated based on region of the map, but I just can’t think of the best solution. Any suggestions? I am excited to do your suggested method of teaching my little how to read. @@blisschidiebere4566 on Amazon it's a workbook. Not the binder she shows in the video. However it's the same material, just different format. Book vs loose pages for a 3 ring binder. Hope that answers your question

Curious, I know this is about short vowel sounds, but…. How do you feel about “letter of the week” approach to consonants ? Like activities, papers, craft for letter b, and so on? I also know your approach to teaching reading you show and love it. Just current what else you do for letters aside from initial flash cards…or is that “it” Thanks Jady!!

What is your advice for when a child refuses to do any school work? We started from a young age and now that she is almost four, she is not wanting to do any. Im doing things very similar to you, so her “school work” shouldn’t take long at all.

I’m a little confused 😕 when should I teach the vowels, example I should start with the letter sounds and you said then go to the folder however I don’t know when I should start teaching the vowels, should it be before the two letter blends?

You can do the vowels after they know all their letter sounds as an emphasis on the vowels while they are starting to blend.

The book and the binder are exactly the same. One is printed in a book form and the other you print and put in a binder.
