Teach Your Kids to Tie Shoes Without Tears!

After trying to teach my 6 year old to tie with the old bunny ears or rabbit going around the bush & into the hole methods to only end up with tears & frustration, I finally worked through the whole process backwards to come up with this. Here's how to teach your kids to tie the easy way. It only took him 2 minutes (& no tears)!!
It took me till kid #5 to learn this - and the other 4 kids have now learned this way.

My daughter just broke down every time we tried to learn to tie shoes. Tried three different ways with her and nothing worked. She is now 7 and I said, “You have to learn this. Soon your shoes will be laces only. Plus you will be able to tie ribbons and make bows when you want to.” We came across this and she got it the first time! She was so proud and ran downstairs to show dad. She is already faster on her fifth go, but we will keep practicing. Thanks for saving our sanity.

My grandson cried every time he tried to tie his laces. As soon as he watched this video he got it straight away. He is now practicing and gets it right every time. Thank you for showing this technique.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! After years and years of tears my son learned this method in the duration of this one video. I am so happy I found this video! I even bought a "how to tie your shoe laces, book" that did nothing but cause more frustration. I will definitely recommend this video to anyone trying to teach their little ones how to tie shoe laces.

Thank you!🙏🏼 I'm trying to teach my 5 yr old now is what brought me to look this subject up, glad i did. The bunny ears wasn't working but I think this way is more comfortable for the young ones to develop the sequence with their hands.

My 6 year old tried your method and almost got it on the first try but perfected it on the 2nd. He cried tears of joy. He fees like a big boy. Thanks so much!!! Easiest tutorial EVER!!!

Unless I'm missing something, these laces are impossible to open without creating a double knot, which my kid definitely can't open. So this method is only useful is he going to have his shoes on all day. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong if these are supposed to open easily.

I can't wait to show my boy. He is left handed and I am right handed it has been a hassle to teach him and if he doesn't get it he wines. So glad I found you online.
