When teaching assistant Lesley-Anne Noel broke up a playground fight and disciplined a pupil, it was all in a day's work and she thought little more about it. But in a shocking example of the fear today's teaching staff face while doing their job, Lesley-Anne was brutally attacked by the boy's dad on her way home from school.

This was so sad to watch, the pain and fear in this poor teacher is absolutely dreadful.. I hope she recovers from all of that and can move on with her life.. don’t let it take control of your life.. bless her

Sometimes I dont understand the Law. Can u imagine giving such a person suspended sentence instead of locking him up for life. The judge actually applauded him. This is ridiculous.

This is what happens when kids are having kids. Parents should be backing teachers up when it comes to disciplining kids when they’re unruly, not attacking the teachers for doing the their job.

His son is clearly influenced by his scumbag father. That poor woman, wish her all the best with her physical and psychological recovery. You wouldnt want to work in that environment again. Something like that happens to you

I agree with her comment put them in jail and throw away the key. People that think it's ok to do this should be locked up. I feel for this women it’s clear this will leave a deep wound and possible PDSD. Which is awful and devastating.

No one or a teacher should go through this. It starts at home. My kids would never in their minds or hearts assault anyone, Let alone a teacher. They would deal with me their Mom.

This should get a jail sentence for sure. I have done a community work, and they laugh there. Driving to the work spot is taken off from their hours. Then they have long breaks and drink tea and laugh. And say 'until the next time, haha''.

Welcome to teaching. As a teacher, your mind doesn’t stay in safety/survival mode, but unfortunately, these things happen too often and too unexpectedly. Both students and parents (guardians) attack teachers and often, especially if a student attacks, nothing is done and the student is your class the next day.

I worked in a college and been in the same situation when I had separate two twins from fighting each other over a girl only difference is that I’m 6’6 tall and everything was seen on cctv
