@@Zoogangler but that doesn't help. My primary school teacher might've been trying to help me by instigating conflicts so that I might have a chance to learn to resolve them naturally, but I never did - I had problems standing up for myself as a kid. I try not to allow any bullying in class now that I'm a teacher myself, even though I work with teens and adults past the age of actively bullying someone unless that someone's pissing everyone off. And with that teacher (2 out of my 4 primary school teachers, in fact, the two good ones didn't work with our class for even a year combined, because our school director was a jerk to them) I can still safely say that whatever her reasoning might have been, the actions were highly unprofessional back then. Had my mother not changed schools (the first school director didn't even want to give us my documents at first) and had I not found a group to stick with after changing schools (even then I went through 3-4 extra years of bullying before that happened) my life would've been broken all thanks to that teacher. That change gave me a chance to get to uni and actually catch up on my social skills at that time

My friend overhead her telling other teachers that I was psychologically disturbed and needed help. This was because I had lost my essay notebook. She wanted me to rewrite three years worth of essays in two weeks and I failed to meet her deadline. Eight years later and my eyes still water when I remember all the stuff I went through because of one careless teacher's words. She may or may not have meant it but I still hate her.

In my school, there’s a little disabled boy, who everyone loves, he’s sweet. Then one day at lunch, the teacher was getting agitated that everyone was talking, she yelled at us, then the little boy began to speak, saying that “it’s okay” he was trying to comfort the teacher, the teacher, who quit the next day, said to this little boy, “Shut up and go to the corner.” The entire lunch room went silent. The boy cried and the teacher was screaming at the entire room until the period was over, we we’re all in shock and our parents were furious.

@@nafsi8519 the sad thing is in some areas students get shot at or kidnapped. I didn't know this one guy personally (he's not even in my grade) but he was shot at near his bus stop. Everyone who rode the same school bus as him ended up seeing his dead body on the ground. He was 14 and according to people who knew him he was a nice guy. So teachers in the US can't be talking about how safe we have it because we don't.

When I was in third grade, we had a new student one day. He was Arab, and came in with a strong accent. That first day, we all made friends with him but it was clear some kids didn't understand him sometimes and his accent clearly stood out to us and made it difficult to get to know him. I'll never forget how the next day, as we were all coming into the classroom, the teacher and the new kid were standing next to the white board, and the teacher said "Hey you guys, (new kid) is gonna teach us something new so please get settled." The new kid then proceeded to teach us about the Arabic language, and how when you're writing in Arabic, you actually write backwards from how you would write English. He showed us how he writes his name in Arabic, and 8 year old me thought it was the coolest shit ever. Teachers should be helping their students embrace cultural differences, not helping to alienate those who stand out.

After few months, I started to realise that he doesn’t used deodorant. BUT he used body spray such like Axe. Then apparently, everyone I asked around 10 - 15 people of my friends does the same thing (all different group of friends and came from different part of India). And goes as far as some of them arguing that body spray IS deodorant. So my question is, is this common?

The worst thing a teacher has said in my class, was he refused to let a girl use the bathroom. She had her period and needed to use the bathroom. He kept saying no, until she went up to him and quietly told him it was a feminine emergency. He said he didn't care and that she could wait. Eventually, she just asked if he would ever let her use the bathroom, he said because she kept asking, that the answer was no. Eventually she just said that she was on her period. The teacher just yell" SO?!" and then yelled at her to just hold it and stop being dramatic to skip class. We all just stared at him with a confused expression, because if you are like him and don't know, you can't hold it. He was fired a month later for drink beer in class and getting drunk.

In Highschool, I was classmates with a girl who had naturally darker tanned skin, she was a stunning girl, always kind and helpful towards everyone, and I hope she's doing well for herself now. One day in Science Class, the teacher somehow thought she was wearing makeup and said she needed to remove it because her face was 'too dark'. The entire class went dead quiet and the poor girl started crying her eyes out. I don't know what happened to the teacher, but I hope she got fired. My algebra III teacher is from Taiwan, and very passive aggressive and thinks she's smarter than everyone even though she gets shit wrong, and racist asf. She told a guy in my class he'd end up in an orange jumpsuit, and called another class SPED. You bet your ass I called her out on it too when she purposely called on my ex boyfriend to say an answer all bc he was talking literally ABOUT the problem, knowing he hasn't been at school bc his mom has cancer, and got pissed when he didn't know it and kept talking and told him to shut it

Every time I had a doctor's appointment (I had medical issues so we had to go out of town for doctors a lot) my teacher would act like it was some grave sin that I had... To go to the doctor for my serious eye issues. So she would overload me with schoolwork I "missed" and got angry if I didn't finish it alongside my class work, despite not giving me any time to. We're talking a 6 year old who was given a stack of paper like half their height.

Had a substitute teacher that would regularly work at my elementary/middle school and everyone loved him until one day he told a girl that her name is pronounced wrong and that she should pronounce it differently and then implied that her parents were stupid for naming her that. The class got so silent, we were all just so shocked and upset that he said that. My jaw dropped. She was a friend of mine and she ended up crying because of it but not before another classmate yelled at him for it.

If that was my class I would have screamed at the teacher and hugged the girl bc for some reason if someone I know in class is crying bc of a teacher I would literally shout at the teacher and hug whoever was crying but if they were crying bc they did something bad then I wouldn’t do anything
