I actually had a classmate (who was notorious for blurting out things) blurt out "Why don't they ever note Michelle M. as being a good student?." They also said something round the lines of me being quite and basically never talking. Which of course the teacher did agree while also informing said classmate not to shout things out as noted before to them. So the teacher check things and noticed that apparently majority of the time, when we had subs (FYI we didn't have too many subs and they were spaced out) I was marked absent (sometimes only for part of the day🤨). Probably because they didn't hear me when I said present and raised my hand (admittedly I was not enthusiastically raising my hand, but it was slightly over my head and my elbow wasn't on the desk). Although I did have one Sub call out for a Mitchell M (different last name but a last name in my family tree) of which we had none in that class and my name wasn't called (but that's a whole another story in and of it's self).

That’s the whole point. She wants to manipulate the other kids into being jealous. They’ll want to go above and beyond so they also get recognized and rewarded like the other kids. It doesn’t usually last long though. Maybe a week or 2 tops.

I was always the good kid in general, especially for subs. But everyone else would be loud as heck. The sub always says that I was good so if the class does get punished, I don't get punished and a treat. Lol. That's what I get for being a teacher's pet. Like I had a sub one time and everyone got detention except my table. We were super quiet and good. The only talking was for the assignment.

Our teacher made us write apology letters and I tried to explain to her I didn't do anything but she didn't believe me so I just wrote some BS on my card and turned it in. The next day, the sub came back to say thank you for the apology letters, and then called out a few students who had actually been respectful and I was one of them. I was pretty relieved that my good behavior had been acknowledged because I didn't want my teacher thinking I was like the other students
