I am going to be watching and liking all your videos from now on, Miss, because I was recently hired as a teacher and I initially applied as a TA, and I have no idea how to start since I don't have a degree in Education and the only thing I had was a short basic course in Teaching Assistance. They moved things up for me ever since the pandemic, and by August this year I have to prep myself, and to be honest, I am both anxious and excited. I overthink things and wonder if I am going to ever make out of this year alive (metaphorically speaking) and be a great teacher, but I guess my instincts will help me with this one. Hi, I started my teacher training on a SCITT course 2 weeks ago. I'm in a reception class and they've asked me to start teaching story time and circle time. I'm excited but also a little scared of the feedback from the teachers as they are so experienced and I have very little teaching experience. Any advice please?

I'm going to teach reception after 10 years of teaching teenagers!!!! So it's a stark contrast for me and I'm anxious about whether I'll get it right. The way we speak to little kids is totally different to the way we speak to teenagers. Please please please, if you have any crucial advice or any "must-do's" please post them in your next vid.
