They should encourage player to try different game modes, as an example : - give a reward when you complete the 39 CTR challenges - give a reward when you complete all cristal challenges - give a reward when you beat some scores in ring rally - give a reward when you complete the 39 relic challenges And upgrade the online mode - fix the connection bug - itemless race (would allow desynchronized races or ghost races) - team race - taunts : there are some unused button so why not add funny lines that you can trigger at will Finally, I want a FREAKING THANOS SKIN FOR VELO

As someone who just the game this past weekend I have to say that I love CTR Nitro Fueled so much. Iv already put many hours into the game. While I'm not that great at the game and some challenges will be impossible for me to beat, there is just so much content and its so much fun to play, and I am mainly single player only, even from a solo player point of view this game has tons of content. Even just playing adventure mode, Iv spent hours doing the same race over and over again until I won and always had lots of fun playing and it was great to keep getting better and better every time. I can't say enough good things about the game. I know now that when the next game comes out that it will be more than worth it to get it at launch

I preordered it and I have spent months and months and every grand prix I played on and I don't regret it at all . I admit I got a little burnt out around the December and January grand prix . Thank god the gas moxia was last one . And then they gave us a break . I was over whelmed by all the stuff they were giving us lol . Haven't unlocked everything cause the wheel sets and stickers got expensive around that time . And just loved what Beenox did with this they even listened to the criticism about rilla roo and took their time and fixed him . Wasn't actually expecting that from them . What can I say , they deserved the best sports and racing award for this remake . It's just amazing.

It made me happy seeing the evolution of the game through updates. This has basically been my go-to game for the past year... I quite literally think it's been in my PS4 disc drive for that long. It was fun seeing each new GP get unveiled, they just got better and better as time went by. It was great seeing all of these post-ND characters return. The challenges were rough and I quite honestly didn't care about the Championship Kart decals after the second GP. I really thank Beenox for giving us new content to look forward to each month, the grand prixs were wild. I am bummed about the online issues too; I basically cancelled my PS plus once February came around as I felt it unnecessary to even bother playing online in that state. The addition of promotional add-ons was a neat concept too, except it was handled badly. The Comcast one really hurt, as their Xfinity cable isn't in every part of the US (plus missed opportunity to tie Universal into Crash again lol). The SPK/Trident promo was fun, would have been neat to see more in that vein. I still see leftover Trident Vibes from when it was going on, but I feel bad for people expecting the codes to work now. I apologize for this comment being me spouting random thoughts about the evolution of Nitro Fueled... But I will end it off by saying we need a PC port. Us fans need a way to preserve the rare stuff like og Rilla (despite being ugly), the Xfinity Kart, and the SPK/Trident content. Not sure how likely it is to happen, but we need it for sure! It will give this game big longevity. Looking forward to a final update, my guess is that we're supposed to be getting it with Crash 4's reveal tomorrow... Fingers crossed!!! (EDIT: Too soon no update lmao)

Awesome video! Rounds up the whole experience quite well. I pre-ordered the game and got it at launch. It became my most played game of last year lol. I was there to experience all the ups and downs of online and such, but in the end I could not be happier at the product. One of the best racers ever made in my opinion, and the amount of content simply shouts great value for money. So happy Crash is back as he should be!

You forgot to mention that at one point in July last year, there was a humongous leak with a total of 53 characters for the game. For what we got from that game, none of them were fake, including King Chicken. So far, the only ones from that leak yet to be shown in the final game are Ripto, the Sorceress and Willie Wumpa Cheeks and the only surprises not from that leak are Yaya Panda, Hasty, Megamix, the Fixed version of Rilla Roo and the Iron Checkpoint Crate. I am still confident that they will appear in the game during an update (Ripto's voice actor, Gregg Berger in the credits shows evidence), regardless of how long they take. Perhaps we'll get an update of CTR:NF on July 3rd, the anniversary of the first Grand Prix, Nitro Tour. If not, then it'll be in September to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Spyro, 1st anniversary of the Spyro N. Friends Tour and a prominent way to include Ripto and the Sorceress. 24:53 BTW those pro challenges we got from the first Post Grand Prix update, this month, they are exactly the same. Also, so far, all we got are special one time bundles of past content. I did have a theory for why we aren't getting many updates recently. I guess Beenox wanted to update more often for the game but due to COVID-19, they were restricted from working at the building and they can only do little updates like bundles. But still, I'm going to keep waiting in case they DO make a new update, even if it takes an ENTIRE YEAR for it to happen.

This is a great look back. I know WAY back when you got me interested in the original game when I saw that playthrough of yours and have been an avid fan of this game since it released, despite the fact I haven't deviated from Nintendo or PC platforms.

Looking back on the Spyro and Friends Grand Prix, I'm still a little upset that other characters who others like myself wanted to see, didn't make the cut like Bianca, Elora, and Ripto.

Great to see how far this game has come within a year, a few more characters would make this game perfect, Madame Amberley, the evil Twins, Willy Wumpacheeks, Ripto, Sorceress, Elora and Bianca, also if we have had baby T and already had Polar and Pura, who wants to see the hog in Crash 1 as a racer, please Beenox.

From the beginning, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled was really special game for me (the best for PS4 in my opinion) and I still love and will be loving it so much for next years to come ♡. (Just like the amazing Original). As for an update, I think we may see something new from Beenox tomorrow, after official official Crash Bandicoot 4: It's about time reveal which would add new content to CTR NF. PS. I believe you can turn off playing intro to the tracks in the options menu, so beating William P. on tracks like Turbo Track would appear less stressful...

I stopped playing in spyro GP because there was changes to the game I didnt like and also it got boring But the October GP made me come back to the game for Engine Swap. Then I stopped playing in winter GP because it was so awful but I came back with the apocalypse GP it was so awsome. I really wish beenox added new modes to online like elimination

I still wish we have control over how ai opponents look and what they drive, along a selection for preset karts.

this is one of my most played games on my Switch and it pains me that I can't earn coins offline when i'm playing outside my house in handheld mode

I preordered the game about a week before it came out, sort of on a whim. As the only Crash racing game I've played was Tag Team Racing at a friend's house, I was excited to get to experience a wide selection of tracks for the first time. I was surprised by how much I loved it, from launch to the end of Nitro Tour, I played it nearly every day. Unfortunately I was burned out by the next Grand Prix, and would mainly go back to get the characters introduced in updates, and that'd be it. Though around the time of the Rustland tour, I come back to play more often (not as much as originally) and try to get the PSN trophies and beat the time trials, which I originally neglected (also because after Gasmoxia I stopped paying for PS+). I'm still trying to beat Oxide's times, as I'm still not nearly as good as some players. I also really can't go back to any other kart racers, it feels so weird, mainly with drifting. I picked up Team Sonic Racing when it came out, and it's okay but it felt so bland in comparison. Aside from that, I'm really happy with how much Beenox listened to criticism and fixed in updates, and how much they added for free! That was something I really wasn't expecting. It makes me hope some developers will follow that in the future. The amount of love and callbacks put into the tracks, characters, skins and karts is great to see. The online is something I still hope gets some changes, even if I don't play it online anymore. But this is, I think, my favorite kart racer of all time. It's just so much fun, I just wish some of my IRL friends had it.

I still think its hilarious that the i got awarded the champion kart completely by accident when the event ended at the time. Lol Still have it to this day.😅👌 I honestly dont care that i got it by accident. Yeah it felt odd using something i didnt really earn at first. Then realized that only a small fraction of the community got the kart at the time. I avoided using the kart for a long time out of fear of them just patching it out for people who didn't earn it. But thankfully it stayed with me. To this day, im glad i have it. No way in hell was i gonna stand a chance to get the championship kart either. So getting it by accident was a blessing.🙏🙏

I got the game on release day, when I was way too busy with university to give the game a fair chance. I don't have a PS+ subscription for that exact reason: I don't have time to dedicate to competitive games. So my fun with the game was... well, short-lived. The game gave very little coins when playing offline, and the fact you couldn't purchase what you wanted but had to wait around for the store page to change made it nearly impossible to unlock a specific skin. I'd purchase items in the hopes that what I really wanted would take its place on the shelf and... hold on. This is basically Star Wars' loot boxes all over again, but hidden in a more insidious package! Nitro Fueled is all the frustration of mobile gacha games, but with an 80$ game you have to buy first. It feels like the game was deliberately created to try and suck up as much of a player's time as possible, and hopefully as much of their money as possible. Every now and then I'd start the game and there'd be a video about the next online event, which to a fan might have looked like an exciting update video but to someone without PS+ this was definitely just an ad I couldn't skip before playing my single player game. So long story short, I have barely played the game, and I've actually gone back to CTR on PS1 because I had more fun playing it without all of these wumpa coins which constantly reminded me that I would never unlock anything significant unless I used my credit card. Which is a shame, because the game itself looks amazing and I even know people who've worked on it, and they are clearly working out of passion. And seeing you talk about the game every now and then on your channel, and how much you liked it, certainly made it bittersweet.

I hope Activision asks Beenox to make a Crash Bash Remake . They're clearly putting a lot of the references like the purple crate and of course Rilla Roo . Just imagine the Crash Bash Remake being done Nitro Fueled style . Remake from the ground up , more bigger story, more characters, more games , online multiplayer and even different victories or skins to earn from winning . I just want this to happen so badly . Anyone else want this to happen ? I mean it's the last Crash game for PS1 and people are clearly loving the references being put into Nitro Fueled and of course the big age of gaming where everyone seems to do is online multiplayer . Even if it doesn't make as much as the trilogy or Nitro Fueled , they basically got a bigger fanbase and it'll just work still. After what they did to Nitro Fueled I just need to this happen We need an online crash party game for this generation . So we have racing and fighting games for crash fans .

I wish that there was a way to get the champion kart decals after the grand prix, even if it was like 20,000 coins for one in the pit stop. I got bored of the game during july because the online was so bad that the only grand prix I didn't finish or get the decal for was the first one.

That waiting for players to skip thing is infuriating!! No removing the intro in time trials would suck to because, skipping the cutscene at a certain time on some tracks . Help you avoid the hazards because you should know the timing . Aka the the mine carts on dragon mines.

I think the "waiting for other players to skip" only happens when a ghost is active. So it must have something to do with the ghost.

About the developer time trials..... Wolfy Playz found them easy

I got the game on switch and didnt play it much bc it was really hard for me especally to drift boost since i have to stare at the meter till it gets in between the lines but doing that means u r not focusing on driving so thats a mess

I played nitro fueled so much. It is without a doubt my all time favorite racing game it's just so much fun. I grew up playing the original on ps1 with my family.the only issue I have with the game is the fact that without internet you can not get coins and you cant get into pit stop store.the reason I dont like this is because when the servers go down one day and we some how lose our save. We will have no way to get all our stuff back. The game is gonna feel rather lacking. I am hoping they will fix this but some how I doubt it. They will probably want is to buy the game again with a complete edition or something. :(

You forgot to mention they added skill based match making. Before it I used to get 1st to 3rd consistently, afterwards I would get any position.

Surprised you didn't mention any invisible walls since for the longest time, this happened. 11:36 Thankfuly we got the necessary fixes for that, better late than never, but the weird geometry and weird fixes caused by this games buggy engine is what makes this game inferior to the OG, so if you still have that, i wouldn't recommend this game. I've talked about this before too, but i found this that you said this in 21:26 and after i look at the mini map.......yeah. What a shame for not getting the necessary online fixes or more variety to it or a local and challenges pay increase or a pay at all when offline or custom cups and kart setups. That's not asking for much, that's just quality of life improvements that would help the game stay alive, but it won't and i predicted it months ago. I would gladly sacrifice a grand prix or 2 if it meant us getting no items lobbies or host migration. Imagine new players having to grind just for the few stuff they want and they won't have the ability to buy it without it appearing first or they won't buy it at all without buying microtransactions first since the best way to earn coins (online) might be dead at that point. Unless we get a PC port like with N. Sane yeah? Btw yes, 13:55 that game that shall not be named, is the "Shrek The Third" of the Crash and Spyro series, no matter how bad or mediocre some games are, nothing can ever compare to this.
