from my POV, that means that there's two whole handoffs between the intake and the amp

I grew up playing with Lego Mindstorms robots, then tinkering with other kits as I got older, but never had the chance to do anything like this. I'm a software engineer now with a 3yo son, and I cannot WAIT for him to be old enough to try robotics. If his school doesn't have a FIRST group they soon will! This is awesome to watch, I hope everyone involved is doing great!

It is not high school competition that students have fun and be proud of what they made anymore, it is a mentors' robotic competition.

I’m sure the students on robonauts are proud of what they’ve made

@DenizNaroglu4 ай бұрын
@@pattfromwiisportsmaybe refusing is too much but students need to do the most of the work, even FIRST says it is not a race. Of course mentors should help and teach, but not build.
@mikelwein83014 ай бұрын
Bro who cares tho? First of all, I find the idea somewhat ridiculous. If you love the project enough to mentor it, you want the kids to do the actual building, no? But second, the quality dosent come from mentors. It comes from equipment and money, and… I mean capitalism baby! Could my team do this? No, we don’t even have a cnc machine. But I’ve had great experiences and learned a lot, and so long as we’re not communists, it’s ok that certain teams are better funded. Just… relax and enjoy the competition bro (Also our robot held 6th place in the world for a time(our district is the first in the world and we got a good result there), anddd… I mean not relevant to the discussion in any way, but it is a cool brag)
@grahampinnell98404 ай бұрын
this robot is terrible and sucks, the name twister is hate speech to Oklahoma and I vote the robonauts ejected from frc because of this
@goated_messi_ronaldo4 ай бұрын
lol, tf Twister is Hate Speach? If you are going to hate this team, at least have a good reason. They should be ejected from frc, not because of the name, but because the students don't even build the robot they just send it off to nasa
@Jhill-224 ай бұрын
@@goated_messi_ronaldo I agree with this. There’s no way high school students come up with all of this every single year.
@goated_messi_ronaldo3 ай бұрын
@@Jhill-22 its dumb. dont nasa rocket scientists have anything better to do than take over a high school competiton?
