Great comparison video. I enjoy my MT8 a lot. It was much better than I thought it would be. I’ve only ran mine in 4s. I don’t have a 6s battery that will fit yet. Maybe ill try 6s one day. Great job on this vid brother. 💪🏾💯👊🏾🔥

In my opinion having adjustable linkages on a basher is just a bunch of week links. The only time ya really need adjustable linkages is for racing. Me personally I'd get rid of them on the MT8 if possible ? I'm not a big Traxxas fan but it's hard to beat the Maxx. Straight out the box they are tough as nails. Cool comparison vid 🔥👍✌️

I took all preload off of my MT8 springs after driving a couple minutes. They were stout out of the box!

The Maxx is a 4s vechile that offers 6s performace. Not many 4s out of the box that are hitting 55 mph without touching a thing.

👌 comparison, im building ramps im not to good at carpentry but I watched video here on yt. The kid used a piece of bendable pvc can use anything and bent a 45' angle on piece ply wood . 16" high 32" long . Interesting how built yours and better structured for heavier vehicles like dirtbikes just dont see how you bent the face ? So has a angle not just a ramp .

Well...I was hoping to see more comparisons other than simply launching them 20 feet in the air till one breaks...good durability test...but what about handling and turning radious....track perfornance....and speed....you got a few more videos to make for a fair comparison 😉

Nice comparison the max is a tough truck, a couple of tweaks with the MT8 and id should be just as strong

I did a comparison as well but I’m heading to the skate park today to give them big full sends I’m going to try to break them. So far I have slightly bent a driveshaft and the screw that runs through the wheelie bar to adjust the settings has been bent as well. But nothing major yet. And it’s a totally different monster on 6S. Way more speed in the air and on the ground

Hey buddy just wanted to share with you I just opened up my differentials and let’s just say they were lubricated but that’s about it the gears had a little bit of oil on them. But I definitely had to top them off quite a bit front middle and rear.

This is why I watch your videos they took some hard hits did it bend the MT8 chassis as it took some hard one 👍👍

I would take team associated over Traxxas any day. Better fit and finish better electronics better plastic. I bought a Traxxas sledge after watching all the reviews and everybody talking about how great it was I would still take my MT 10 over that pile of crap any day. I have never experienced that much latency in a controller since I was running a.m. radios back in the 80s. For almost $1000 you would think they could at least throw a decent set of electronics in it. I don’t know just never been impressed with Traxxas products.

Except when your really bashing you can snap the xmaxx chassis in half. You would have a really hard time snapping the chassis in half on the mt8.

Prices are no way near each other in the UK even though we don't have the MT8 yet, it's £160 retail more for the Maxx V2

Looks like the mt8 has a lot of potential but the max is still better and will always be since in a video from Kevin talbot I saw the mt8 completely falls apart on 6s. It breaks as soon as you look at it

Nice comparison. The camber link on the MT8 is probably going to be an issue like the V1 Kaiju and the Kaiju EXT. That would suck. Not sure about that metal chassis and the MT8 and my 26ft jumps off my friend's huge ramp either. Heck even 16ft jumps were an issue with the metal chassis 6s Arrmas. I had to replace those chassis with M2C. Anyways, good stuff. The Maxx V1 would be more durable. My V2 Maxx keeps cracking bulkheads where the upper hinge pins go through them. I'm going to try out WD40 años see what happens. Good time with your bashing friends. My son has hit me before with an RC, including my X-Maxx doing around 30mph 🤣

I think they need to put fixed rear on these id rather have plastic there...plastic bends
