i get what you mean by not expecting Wiju to rap 😂 he's done so several times already, but it still catches me by surprise. what's more, a LUNÉ asked Nicholas about this cover and apparently it was Wiju who chose this song 🥺🥺

Coffee house guy and black cat reference is so cute!! Who would have expected that the strangers from the i-land would become a dynamic duo? And the fact that EJ can only be himself when he is with Nicholas, and not the group leader, made me appreciate their friendship even more.

Haha once I had the thought I couldn't unsee it. I should draw that into a little comic or something😅 I didn't know them then, and I haven't gone back to watch i-land myself, but I've seen a lot of ppl talk about it online. The evolution of their friendship is sweet! And when I read where Ej said that about Nicholas, I wanted to cry like please never separate them🤧

@@izzy_robotix Given that they are the only two foreigners in the group and also the same age (Korean age culture), I can imagine how important Nico is to EJ. Sometimes, I wonder if things would be the same if another i-Lander Khungmin had not left HYBE.

@gooseyissan yessss I've read a couple of interviews where they mention how at ease they can be around each other because they're the same age, but imo I think it's more than that too lol Ooo I actually haven't seen i-land or &audition yet so I haven't heard of Khungmin I'm sorry😅 is he also the same age or was he close to them too?

@@izzy_robotix Kyungmin is younger (04). He was in the same team with EJ (and other i-landers), he might be closer to EJ than EJ to Nicholas. EJ and Nicho barely crossed paths during their i-land era. When Nicho was sent to the ground, EJ was selected to the i-land, they are almost strangers. If Kyungmin was still attached to the &audition project and trained with them, the dynamics of nichojoo might not be the same?

@@gooseyissan That's sooo fascinating, I heard that they barely spoke during I-land...it's interesting to see how their relationship has evolved. I can't imagine their relationship not being what it is now lol I love them together so much😌 Maybe I'll have to venture down the I-Land/&audition path to know more about them🤔 This is what happens when you're new lol
