Cross Versus mode is the new exciting game mode added in Xenoverse 2 after many years of no new gameplay features, it allows 2 teams of 3 to battle it out and see who can get the score needed to win or beat the SUPER BOSS located in the next area for both teams!

They gave UI a way better transformation window than Beast for normal PvP, but then gave Beast a new PvP home in Cross Versus. I hope they focus a decent amount on this (and don't mess it up with random unbalanced jank), because it has a lot of potential for an alternate PvP mode. Crystal Raids who?

Apparently if you wanna cheese the boss (that isn’t great ape vegeta) is use fighting pose k and a good power up skill. And apparently they are near brainless and don’t know how to grab

Wish we could've seen it in this video, but the Bosses *can* properly Stamina Break you. They feel harder than a Very Hard setting Ai.

I'm starting to think, it's a better alternative to winning than focusing on the boss. Boss cpu is tough if it's just 1v1 which can result in a waste of time.

beating the boss just takes too long compared to accumulating points, i feel like if you unlocked the boss area at 4k points then it'd be more viable

First time playing this mode was absolutely horrible I did not know WHAT to do 😂. But after playing a while I’ve learned my way and I’m definitely a god at this. Also, keep in mind this is a TEAM based game so if your team mate wants to go defeat a boss I’d advise BOTH of you to go defeat the boss it makes it so much easier otherwise the other team will just win simply off of gathering points faster.

Cross Verses is fun and enjoyable if you haven't played it yet i advise you do, the AI will stamina break you in this mode its absolutely crazy

That is false they do not stamina break you, unless you mean with charged heavy and the aura burst dash

Underrated fact: You can adquire ults from DLCs you don't have and use them here. Sure it is random, but you can find ults from DLCs even if you haven't purchased them.

Look like this update added the smartest AI in the game: in the form of Cross Versus bosses. They can stamina break, something which even the smartest AI pre-update couldn't do.

8:50 good move! I was getting jumped too and realized my best option was to just go back. It won’t allow the other team to get a huge amount of point for defeating you.

They should change the final phase so you have to win by beating the boss and not just punching rocks like you're grinding for diamonds in minecraft

15:58 I think Remote Serious Bomb might be bugged to not cancel transformations anymore, I was doing PQs earlier and the cpu Fu used it against me but it didn't turn off my transformation just like here!

this mode is shitloads of fun, played it all day yesterday, but i have two problems: * the enemies keep fucking ganging up and jumping players, dimps pls fix * beating the boss just takes too long compared to accumulating points, i feel like if you unlocked the boss area at 4k points then it'd be more viable

tbh the UI Charge is literally just Ultimate Charge, so it starts slow as shit but gets mad fast by the end of the bar. But that out of the way Cross Versus is way more fun than it has any right being for being in Xenoverse 2, I do think there should be a way to interfere with teams who aren't in their Boss Area though, there's literally nothing stopping them just point racing you to death and that is so anti-climactic

There needs to be a game mode WHERE UR HUNTING FOR DRAGON BALLS. Come on how is that not the first thing to think of. Use like 3-7 maps, sprinkle in more goons to stop u. Dealing w/ like 8 bots:6 npcs, 2 bosses per map for mayhem. Maybe 1 actual raid boss that’s specifically hunting the dballz too. Like frieza.

Every Cross Versus game I've played people just farm points to win. I wanna fight the fuckin boss I wanna fight the other players It's basically Gambit yet nobody takes any risks it's wild. That and other players get bodied by fuckin saibamen like, please just hit them with supers after a short damage combo holy shit
